The realm of innate wisdom of channels, winds, and bindus. To the Lotus-born who ripens the four vajras. Having paid homage, I shall unfold the Empowerment Ritual of the Lama Yangnying Kundü (Heart Practice, Quintessence of All), 'A Gateway to the Delight of Padma.' This has three parts: Preparation, Main Practice, and Conclusion. Firstly: In a secluded and agreeable place, either place a painted cloth on a platform, or arrange offering tormas on a mandala according to the number of deities. On top of that, on a low table, place a vase filled with essence, and a skull cup filled with nectar, covering a mirror marked with a sindhura dot and root mantra. To the right, place a Guru image. Either on top of the mirror or to the left, place a torma of precious blazing. Deities images can be placed in the front or back, whichever is convenient. Also, gather all necessary items such as medicine, alcohol, articles of enjoyment, tsok implements, a karma vase, and preliminary torma. Secondly, there are two parts: the activities of the teacher and the activities for the disciple. First: With the understanding of the inseparability of self and front, follow the ritual text and recite as appropriate. In particular, visualize the deities in the great immeasurable palace of the vase and the self-arisen Bhänja, like stars rising in a clear lake, and believe that a stream of bodhicitta nectar descends from their bodies, filling the entire vessel, and recite accordingly.
