驱逐一切邪魔于远方并设结界。之后，一边念诵心咒和陀罗尼咒，一边佩戴于颈部或左臂。以三遍百字明咒使其稳固，并诵吉祥颂。之后，若发生恐惧和害怕等事，修行者自己用手抓住轮。意念祈求庇护，如前一样念诵诸咒。若与解脱恶灵有关而佩戴守护轮，则在完成守护之后，佩戴轮并如常诵吉祥颂等。如是佩戴之利益，于印度经文中有云：寿命延长福德增，一切罪业皆清净，守护一切邪魔众，一切愿望皆成就。如是说。 又，通常仅是圆满狮吼观音的念诵，就能清净生生世世积累的业障，旧病平息且新病不生，身色光彩且力量增长，感官清晰，以及获得如意宝般的财富等，宣说了无量利益。特别是，对于被龙魔缠身者，念诵四十万遍等，就能从疾病邪魔中解脱。若未能解脱，则修持陀罗尼，念诵结束时，进行与水神心咒相关的行为念诵，若能辨认出各种毒，则进行与各自解药之咒语相关的念诵，以及依次区分龙和国王等。所有这些的结尾，都要进行解脱恶灵的仪式，以及佩戴守护轮，必定能立即给予利益安乐之事物。世间自在狮吼尊，明咒甘露大云中，加持甘露恒时降，愿令三界得滋养。如是说，末世之时，因受他者控制，而信任简略之口诀，以及依附于凶恶之鬼神，与此相比，对于如此具量之典籍，能生起智慧之福德者实为稀有，然仍由自己之意愿所驱使，由离俗瑜伽士蒋扬钦哲，于上师仁波切索南策摩之著作，以及噶当巴释迦扎巴，玛尔却吉嘉波，衮钦仁那西日等之论著中

Drive all obstacles far away and set boundaries. Then, while reciting the heart mantra and dharani mantra, wear it on the neck or left arm. Stabilize it with three recitations of the Hundred Syllable Mantra and recite auspicious verses. Afterwards, if fear or dread arises, the practitioner should grasp the wheel with their own hand. With the intention of seeking protection, recite the mantras as before. If the protection wheel is to be worn in connection with the liberation of evil spirits, then after the protection is completed, wear the wheel and recite auspicious verses as usual. The benefits of wearing it in this way are also stated in the Indian scriptures: Longevity increases, merit increases, all sins are purified, protects all hosts of obstacles, and all wishes are fulfilled. Thus it is said. Moreover, in general, merely completing the recitation of the Lion's Roar Avalokiteśvara purifies all karmic obscurations accumulated over lifetimes, old diseases subside and new ones do not arise, the complexion and strength of the body increase, the senses become clear, and wealth like wish-fulfilling jewels is obtained, and so on, immeasurable benefits are proclaimed. In particular, for those possessed by nāga demons, reciting four hundred thousand times, etc., will liberate them from disease and demonic possession. If that does not liberate them, then practice the dharani, and at the end of the recitation, perform the action recitation related to the heart mantra of the water deity, and if the various poisons can be identified, then perform the recitation related to the mantras that are antidotes to each, and distinguish between nāgas and kings in sequence. At the end of all of these, perform the ritual of liberating evil spirits, and wearing the protection wheel will definitely bestow immediate benefits and happiness. From the great cloud of the mantra nectar of the Lord of the World, Lion's Roar, may the nectar of blessings constantly descend, so that the three realms may be nourished. It is said that in these degenerate times, people rely on brief instructions because they are controlled by others, and they rely on fierce spirits for protection. Compared to that, it is rare for those who have the merit to develop wisdom in such authoritative texts, but still driven by my own wishes, Jamyang Khyentse, a renunciate yogi, from the writings of the precious teacher Sonam Tsemo, and the treatises of Kadam Shakya Tragpa, Mar Chökyi Gyalpo, Kunkhyen Ratna Shri, and others.
