The Clarification of the Profound Instructions of Lokeshvara Simhanada, the Nectar Essence of Benefiting Others. The Clarification of the Profound Instructions of Lokeshvara Simhanada, the Nectar Essence of Benefiting Others. This is the treatise called "The Clarification of the Profound Instructions of Lokeshvara Simhanada, the Nectar Essence of Benefiting Others." Om Svasti Siddham. With the nectar of compassion, all three realms, the noble moon that gives breath, constantly attend to the mind-ocean of faith, and slightly increase the nectar essence of profound instructions. Wishing to accomplish the two benefits of oneself and others by relying on the yoga of Lokeshvara Simhanada, one should know this: First, the ritual of approaching; second, the ritual of accomplishing the dharani; and third, the ritual of liberating from evil spirits. The first has three parts: contemplating the deity, reciting the mantra, and the activities between sessions. The first has two parts: the preliminary accumulation of the two accumulations, and the main practice of contemplating the deity. The first is: In a secluded and agreeable place, abiding in bathing and cleanliness. If there is a painted image in front, arrange offerings and tormas before the displayed image. With refuge and bodhicitta as the preliminary, instantly visualize oneself as Simhanada, and with the light from the heart, invite the field of merit. After prostrating and offering, confessing sins, and the seven branches, etc. oṃ vajra muḥ (藏文), 嗡 瓦日ra 木 (梵文天城体), oṃ vajra muḥ (梵文罗马拟音), 嗡 瓦吉ra 木 (汉语字面意思), request the field of merit to depart to the inconceivable place. Training the mindstream with the four immeasurables is the accumulation of merit, and remembering the meaning of the mantra of shunyata and abiding in the realm of clear light emptiness is the accumulation of wisdom. The second is: Generating the yidam deity, the union of the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya, the self-nature result of the two accumulations, completely with the four limbs. Holding the mind one-pointedly on the clear appearance, contemplate until the deity's body becomes clear and stable like an illusion. The second, reciting the mantra, is: If one becomes tired of this, arrange the mantra garland at the heart, and as said before, with the combination of radiating and withdrawing light, recite the heart mantra and the long dharani as appropriate. When one wishes to rise from the session, offer and request forgiveness from the wisdom being of the self-generation deity who has come to the space in front. Depart to the realm of self-nature, protect the three places, and conclude with dedication and aspiration.

Combine them and engage in conduct. In short, the practice up to this point, if practiced as taught by the venerable omniscient Khedrup Kundrup, will surely accomplish the meaning. Third, there are five things to do during session breaks: conduct, torma, food, sleep, and waking up. First, all activities of going, staying, standing, and walking, such as prostrations and circumambulations, should be done with the pride of being the commitment being, the Bhagavan Lion's Roar. Second, as it appears in the practice manual of the all-knowing Pelden Dondrup, offer the torma for the deceased and the three-part torma for worldly beings in general. If you cannot, dedicate the remainder of the deceased torma by reciting "akāro" (अकारो, akāro, the letter A) three times. May all beings of the world receive this offering torma, abide in the truth of Dharma, and perform peaceful and virtuous deeds. Until I attain enlightenment, may there be no obstacles or hindrances, may I abide in my vows, and may you be my friends in attaining enlightenment. After reciting these words, it is also acceptable to ask for forgiveness and request them to depart. Third, at mealtime, think of food as nectar and enjoy it with the intention of offering it to the deities. Fourth and fifth, when going to sleep at night, sleep in a state of emptiness. In the morning, wake up from the state of emptiness as the body of the deity. Take a bath and cleanse yourself beforehand, and then practice as before. In this way, by practicing in a sequence of three or four sessions, reciting four million times, or four or eight times the number of syllables in a million, it is said that one can accomplish all activities. Therefore, recite thirty-six hundred thousand times, or seventy-two hundred thousand times, or generally nine million times with completion. There is no limit to achieving enlightenment. Then, if you wish to practice mantra accomplishment, in a clean and pleasant room, in front of the venerable Lion's Roar and other sacred objects, spread a mandala one cubit long with five kinds of cow dung and good-smelling incense, and place six clusters of flowers on it. In front of it, make a mandala one and a half cubits long and one cubit wide with cow dung and good-smelling incense. On the right, place white flowers, torma, and yellow butter that has not fallen on the ground, strained through a cloth sieve, mixed with fragrance. On the left, place water.
