Having visualized the seed syllables as deities, make the deities and retinue surround you, and the Dharma wheel turn. After finishing the recitation, pray: "May the Blessed One dispel the darkness of ignorance of myself and all sentient beings, and grant the wisdom of realizing selflessness." Offerings and praises should be made as above. From the seed syllable in your heart, radiate light and dissolve it into the protective wheel's palace. The palace, together with the seat, dissolves into the deities of the retinue. The retinue dissolves into yourself, appearing as the venerable Manjushri. Say this. Visualize a white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) at your forehead, a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) at your throat, and a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हु, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) at your heart. By this virtue, may I quickly attain the state of the venerable Manjushri, and may I place every single being without exception on that ground. After dedicating and making aspirations in this way, engage in daily activities. If doing the approach recitation, recite the main deity's mantra eight hundred thousand times in stages such as four sessions, and recite about one-tenth of that for the retinue's mantras. At the end of the early session, after completing the dissolution of the mandala, purify the torma offering. Bless it with Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), and Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हु, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). Radiate light from your heart and invite the five deities of the venerable Manjushri, surrounded by a gathering of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, into the sky in front of you with Vajra Samaja (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Devanagari: वज्रसमाजा, Romanized Sanskrit: vajrasamājaḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Samaja). Offer the seat with Padma Kamalaya Tvam (Tibetan: པདྨ་ཀ་མ་ལཱ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ, Devanagari: पद्मकमलायस्त्वं, Romanized Sanskrit: padmakamalāyastvaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Lotus Lotus Seat). At the end of the main and retinue deities' mantras, add Akaro (Tibetan: ཨ་ཀཱ་རོ་, Devanagari: अकारो, Romanized Sanskrit: akāro, Literal Chinese meaning: Akaro) three or five times and offer the torma, making offerings, praises, and supplications as above. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra three times and confess any shortcomings or omissions. If there is a representation, perform the stabilization; if not, request Vajra Mu to return to its place. Perform the protection of the three places and the dedication of merit. If you wish to offer a worldly torma, offer three portions of the torma as usual after the deceased's torma. This, written in a concise manner with only oral recitation, was composed by Khyentse Wangpo, the servant who pleases Manjushri Lama, and the scribe was Śrīdharmakīrti. By this virtue, may all beings individually gain the power to master the wisdom of the four perfect knowledges. །། The Essence of the Manjushri Arapacana Five Deity Sadhana, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel of the Mind.
