Place the five essences and five fragrances. Decorate it with kusha grass on top. Arrange conch instruments, fragrant water, and vajra mantra cords. Separately, prepare the student's equipment. Including daily necessities, toothpicks, handfuls of water, arm cords, kusha grass, etc. The actual ritual consists of: preparation and the main part, the first of which is: meditating on generating oneself, wa7, the activities of the mandala, and the subsequent rituals. The first is: oneself and companions take a bath together. If possible, take the Mahayana sojong vow. Sit in the east of the mandala. Sprinkle the preliminary torma with clean water. Cleanse with OM AMRITE HUM PHAT (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏེ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: om amrite hum phat, Chinese literal meaning:). Purify with SVA BHAWA. Perform the vajra binding mudra and bless by reciting OM AKARO MUKHAM etc. three times. With the sky treasury mudra, offer by reciting OM DASHA DIKA LOKA PALA SAPARIWARA NAMASARVA TATHAGATA BHOBHI VISWA MUKHE etc. three times. OM VAJRA ANDHAM SVAHA (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་ཨནྡྷཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: om vajra andham svaha, Chinese literal meaning:). Offer with OM VAJRA PATYAM etc. Holding the vajra bell, recite: May the ten direction protectors and their retinues, enjoy this offering torma. May the yogi, ourselves and our retinues, be free from illness, have long life, possess power, glory, fame, and good fortune. May we obtain vast enjoyment, and may you grant me the accomplishment of peaceful, increasing, and other activities. Oath-bound ones, please protect me. Please be the assistant to all accomplishments. Please eliminate untimely death and diseases, evil spirits and obstacles. Please eliminate bad dreams and bad omens. Please eliminate bad actions and bad deeds. May the world be happy and the harvest be good, may grains increase and the Dharma flourish. May all goodness arise, and may all wishes in our hearts be fulfilled. In order to fulfill the intentions of the glorious and holy lamas, for the benefit of all sentient beings, in order to obtain the supreme Mahamudra accomplishment, the state of the three families, here in this place, we will construct the great mandala of the three families, practice and offer. We will enter and receive empowerment ourselves, and guide disciples to enter and bestow empowerment, therefore, the lord of protectors.
