Transformed into mirror-like wisdom, similarly, all dharmas are determined to be of three natures: the completely imputed, the other-powered, and the thoroughly established. The first is further divided into: the various completely imputed, which are falsely imputed on the various things that appear to be non-existent; and the completely imputed that completely lacks nature, like seeing a double moon. The second is divided into: the impure other-powered, such as the arising of all dharmas in dependence on conditions; and the pure other-powered, such as the body and wisdom of the Buddha, which are established from the aspect of being free from obscurations. The third is further divided into: the thoroughly established, which is the meaning of reality, the unchanging nature of the luminous dharmadhatu; and the thoroughly established that is free from the bonds of afflictions, and in which the uncontaminated path is manifested, without reversing from what is. That is to say, the other-powered of afflictions and the completely imputed that falsely impute on external objects, etc., do not actually exist, so they are the conventional truth. These two are also known to be not independent of the appearances of the mind, but are understood to be the nature of the mind, so it is not considered that there is no truth in the thoroughly established. The wisdom that is free from the duality of grasping and being grasped is established as the ultimate truth. In terms of subdivisions, there are different views, divided into two types: Mind-Only True and Mind-Only False. The former believes that the various things that appear are true in the mind as they appear. The latter believes that the various things that appear are defiled by habitual tendencies, and appear as if they do not exist, like seeing hairs falling, which is Mind-Only False. This is what they believe. These are further divided into: the former has three types: the number of grasper and grasped are equal, half an egg, and various non-dualities; the latter is further divided into two types: with defilements and without defilements, etc. Thus, relying on the sutras of the final teachings, the Avatamsaka Sutra and the Ratnakuta Sutra, etc., five hundred Mahayana masters of Abhidharma meditation and so on appeared and made this Mind-Only school flourish and develop. Later, after Nagarjuna appeared, the Mind-Only school declined, and the Mahayana Madhyamaka school flourished and developed. Second, if the Mind-Only school believes that the nature of the mind, which is merely clear and aware, is the ultimate truth, and if it believes that it exists ultimately merely by imputation, then it will fall into the extreme of permanence. Then, if our own school believes that it does not exist, will it fall into the extreme of nihilism? No.

Yes, because in the ultimate sense, what is to be refuted is not established, so it is not desired to refute it either. And so on, these are to refute the previous wrong views. That is to say, the Yogachara Madhyamaka school also does not want the mind to be unreal, etc., from being similar to the Svatantrika school, to establishing the Sautrantika, Vaibhashika, and Chittamatra schools as schools that assert reality, believing that they have not seen the ultimate truth as it is. In one's own system, there are also two established extremes. Furthermore, the omniscient Dharma King and others also distinguish between what is desired when temporarily establishing through hearing and thinking, etc., and the inner yoga that is ultimately to be practiced. Among them, the first, self-emptiness, is: it is not admitted that there is any truly established dharma, not even an atom. In terms of internal classification, there are the Svatantrika and Prasangika schools. The first is further divided into the Sutra-following Madhyamaka and the Yoga-following Madhyamaka. The former is called that because it is similar to the Sutrantika and Chittamatra in terms of acceptance, and the internal differences are very subtle. That is to say, the view of the school is: in the face of the conventional, deluded mind, all dharmas exist; in the ultimate, non-deluded nature, it is believed that they do not exist. The former is further divided into the real conventional, which appears and can function, and the false conventional, which appears but cannot function. The latter is divided into: the nominal ultimate, which only prevents birth, etc., and has not been liberated from the elaboration of non-birth, and the non-nominal ultimate, which is liberated from all the limits of elaboration. That is to say, for those who believe that there is no arising or ceasing, etc., it is also believed that it is included in the five great logical reasons. Namely: the Vajra Splinter used for the cause; the existence and non-existence of arising and ceasing used for the result; the four possibilities of arising and ceasing used for both cause and result; the one and many separate, established by means of non-affirming negation, used for the essence. These four are the reasons for eliminating the extreme of superimposition of existence. The reason for great dependent arising, established by means of non-excluding negation, is to cut off the elaboration of both existence and non-existence, there are five in total. The first is: all dharmas do not arise from any of self, other, both, or without cause, because whatever arises is from a real thing...
