To be known. Thus it is said. As for the path of meditation: On top of the sixteen aspects of the four truths, one adds the profound path of dependent origination and practices it. That is, the root of the wheel of samsara wandering continuously arises solely from the cause of one's own ignorance of oneself. Dependent on that, there are formations, consciousness, name and form, six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, old age, and death, all in sequence, the latter arising dependent on the former. The very fact that they exist in mutual and continuous relation is called the arising of dependent origination. And the root of that, ignorance, is destroyed by realizing the selflessness of the person, so that the latter, which are related in sequence, also cease. This is called the cessation of the noble truth. There are also two kinds of dependent origination, inner and outer. As for the conduct, it is similar to that of the Hearers, maintaining the pure discipline of superior morality, and seeking only the attainment of enlightenment for oneself. That is, dwelling alone like a rhinoceros, or like a parrot, there are two kinds of conduct when in a group. As for the result, the former requires a hundred great eons, and the latter, if quick, can attain the Pratyekabuddha Arhat in three lifetimes. As the Treasury says: "Quickly, at the end of three existences, the rhinoceros is the cause of a hundred eons." That is, from the heat of the path of joining up to the path of no more learning, one practices on a single seat, and when one realizes one's own fruit, one also believes that one only teaches the Dharma with the mere appearance of the body, and that no other benefit to beings will occur. Thus, both of them rely on the three pitakas of the Lesser Vehicle to practice, and arise only from the difference between sharp and dull faculties. The Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas do not accept the Great Vehicle as the word of the Buddha, and do not accept the Dense Array and other places of enjoyment bodies other than the field of this world, along with the support and the supported. They believe that the body of Shakyamuni Buddha is the true Buddha, and that his mind is the Dharmakaya, and that ordinary beings who are bound by the bonds of their own continuum accumulate merit and attain enlightenment in this world, and that there is nothing else. There are many such views, and the treatises that explain these views are the Abhidharmakosha composed by Master Vasubandhu and others. The third is the Bodhisattva Vehicle.

It is, the way of being more superior than before, and the actual declaration of intention. Firstly, in general, aiming at the benefit of others, accomplishing through the union of skillful means and wisdom, possessing the wisdom of realizing emptiness through the two selflessnesses, diligently engaging in the practice of enlightenment for three countless eons, etc., this is the explanation of initiating great diligence. Combining emptiness and compassion, being skilled in the means of easily accomplishing the two benefits. Perfectly accomplishing the distinguished qualities such as strength, fearlessness, and unmixed dharmas. Repeatedly directly seeing the essence of enlightenment, etc., with endless uninterrupted activities, thereby undertaking the activities of the Buddha. The way of being distinguished by the seven greatnesses is also as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: The aim is great and, likewise, the very nature of accomplishment, wisdom and diligence.
