The self-appearance of the senses is the Great Seal. The essence of Dharma is grasped by skillful means. The non-elaboration appearance is the key of letters. Thus it is said. Making the root-winds workable is from the words of Lāva: By binding memory to clear light, self-awareness is the radiance of the five wisdoms. The appearance of earth, water, fire, wind, and space is the sign of cause, path, and fruit. Thus it is said. The unwavering meditation, from the words of Jñānadhara: In the clear rays of light, the intermediate space, the mirage-like appearance is the light of bliss. Clear like the light of a firefly. Non-conceptual light appears like the sky. Thus it is said. These are from the first chapter of \"The Golden Sun, Various Appearances.\" Meeting the self-nature of clear light, from the words of Dharmabhadra: The mind-essence clear light is the meaning of things. Self-nature essence is the cause of Buddhahood. The wisdom of aimless, primordially pure, seeing it eliminates ignorance. Thus it is said. The uncreated, spontaneously accomplished Buddha body, naturally abides in all beings. Thus it is said. Thus it is said. The glorious light-holder, from the words of Maratalita: Do not follow the objects of discrimination, the appearance is astonished, there liberation from clinging. Keeping it as it is, the state of the six aggregates relaxed. The thought of meditation is impurity. Thus it is said.

Thus it is said. Dha ba the Venerable said: From the mind, wisdom will arise, The awakened awareness is the eye of the wrathful one. Abiding in its own place, the wind of discursive thoughts does not move, Through dependent origination, it will be truly accomplished. Thus it is said. Marukala the Venerable, radiant with the splendor of immaculate bliss, said: With the co-emergent of the indicative example, Realize the co-emergent of the signified meaning. By this is the self without coming and going, The inherent nature of mind itself. Thus it is said. Panjana the Venerable, in whom appearance is definitely born in the continuum, said: The action mudra is the indicator, The dharma mudra is the path of meditation, The great mudra is the fruit, The samaya mudra is the activity. Thus it is said. Devashara the Venerable, who cuts off the superimpositions on the meaning continuum, said: Experiencing bliss is joy, Experiencing grasping and liberation is supreme joy, The inseparability of bliss and emptiness, Is the co-emergent joy. If separated from experience, then separated from joy. Thus it is said. Dhana Ru the Vase-Holder said: For sentient beings in the six realms of samsara, Even though there is the Sugata-garbha, Without practice, liberation will not be attained. Thus it is said. This is extracted from the "Suchness Appearance" of all yogis. From the Great Seal Golden Garland 1: Just as in the summer season, grasses grow, But if not sown in the field, crops will not arise, Similarly, sentient beings of the six realms, even with Buddha-nature, Without meditation, the meaning of liberation wisdom will not be seen. Thus it is said. Self Awareness is realized by oneself, Like the water element, gold, and the sky, Buddhas, sentient beings, samsara, and nirvana, There is no difference whatsoever to be abandoned or adopted. Thus it is said. Like a rainbow, an illusory body, With the samaya mudra without attachment, Through the encounter of self-appearing sense consciousness, The truth of dharmata is seen. Thus it is said. Like a bird dwelling on the side of a golden Mount Meru, The bird abandons its own nature and appears as gold, If the wise realize no-birth, Then they abandon the nature of things and attain great bliss. Thus it is said. This was composed by Mitripa and translated by Marpa. In Yoga, Klu na Satu in the Truth of the Nature of Yoga says: What appears as form is the body itself, Consider all bodies as the nature of speech, Sentient beings are the cause of enlightenment, Therefore, its awareness is wisdom. Thus it is said.
