Herein lies a concise explanation of disputes. Herein lies a concise explanation of disputes. Homage to the Guru and the Three Jewels. Regarding the disagreement between the great scholar, Teacher Kunzang, and Gon Jangpa, if the views of some Tibetan teachers are taken as evidence, Gon Jangpa would appear to be wrong. However, if the views of the Buddhas and great Bodhisattvas are taken as evidence, Teacher Kunzangpa would appear to be wrong. The reason is that many Tibetan teachers believe that all the profound and ultimate uncommon teachings, such as Dharmakaya, self-arisen wisdom, Mahamudra, Great Mother, Vajrasattva, Samantabhadra, Great Vajradhara, Suchness, Ultimate Truth, Thusness, the ultimate limit of reality, the meaning of the ultimate essence, and Tathagatagarbha, although different in name, are not different in meaning. They are all spoken of within the realm of Dharma itself. The so-called realm of Dharma or Dharmata also refers to emptiness. Emptiness means that all dharmas are empty of their own nature, and in reality, there is no birth. However, in conventional relative truth, the arising of dependent origination appears without ceasing, and this is all that is meant. Because there is no emptiness higher than self-emptiness, the awareness and all knowable objects that abide in self-emptiness are Dharmakaya, self-arisen wisdom, and Mahamudra. Similarly, from being the Great Mother to being the Sugata-garbha, the reason for asserting this is that the current appearances and sounds themselves are also considered to be the three Kayas or even the four Kayas. The appearing aspect is the Nirmanakaya, the empty aspect is the Dharmakaya, the knowing aspect is the Sambhogakaya, and the undifferentiated aspect is the Svabhavikakaya. Therefore, all appearances and existence are necessarily the three or four Kayas, abiding in Mahamudra, and clear in self-arisen wisdom. These aggregates, elements, and sense bases themselves are the deities and goddesses of the mandala. These five afflictions themselves are the five wisdoms. The mind of sentient beings itself is the Buddha, and there is no other Buddha besides this. Therefore, samsara itself is nirvana, conceptual thought itself is the Dharmakaya, and ignorance itself is wisdom. However, because this is not realized as it is, one wanders.

Thus, when one recognizes in this way, it is called Nirvana or Buddhahood. However, in reality, there is no Buddha to be attained, so it is said that the fruit has been lost from the beginning. However, in the place where the fruit Buddha has never existed, one recognizes that it is inherently non-existent, and it is only a determination, which is nominally called the attainment of the fruit Buddha. Therefore, when one recognizes in this way after being introduced by the oral instructions of the Lama, the fruit is not obtained in the future, but is obtained in the present. This is also called the loss of the ground, path, and fruit. It is also said that the mistaken path of the ground is taken away by the hail of the fruit. All of view, meditation, conduct, and fruit are lost and turned to ashes. It is also sung in the songs of realization. If it is not like this, and one wants a good Buddha, then there are many faults such as there is no time to obtain it, and the fruit is left in the future. Also, some Tibetans believe that these conventional appearances and sounds are not Buddhas from the beginning, but recognizing that these are self-empty is Buddhahood. The realm of sentient beings, this mind, recognizing it as emptiness is Buddhahood. Recognizing conceptual thought as unreal is Dharmakaya. Recognizing the five poisons as without self-nature is the five wisdoms or the five Buddha families. Therefore, ignorance and wisdom are one in essence but different in aspect. Not recognizing is ignorance, and recognizing is wisdom. Realizing in this way is like summoning the Buddha in broad daylight, building the tomb of the Buddha on top of Samsara, and so on. Also, some Tibetans believe that the various appearances and sounds of the present are the conventional Samsara in terms of appearance, and the ultimate Nirvana in terms of emptiness. Therefore, the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness is the indivisibility of the two truths, and the indivisibility of Samsara and Nirvana. Therefore, there is no ultimate truth, Dharmakaya, or Nirvana more supreme than this. All the union of the father and mother deities of secret mantra are taught from this indivisibility of appearance and emptiness. The part of appearance is the method, so it is the father. The part of emptiness is wisdom, so it is the mother. Because the two are inseparable, the union means that the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness is what is intended. Therefore, the various appearances and sounds of the present are the joyful Buddhas, fathers and mothers.
