A Prophecy of the Errors of Ordinary Pandit and Others A Prophecy of the Errors of Ordinary Pandit and Others Oṃ Guru Buddha Bodhisattvebhyo Namaḥ Namaḥ. A Prophecy of the Errors of Ordinary Pandit and Others. I prostrate to the glorious and venerable Lama, and to all the glorious accomplished ones. I offer and take refuge. Please hold me with great compassion at all times. Clearly reveal the mistaken aspects of the two truths, and show how what exists exists, and what does not exist does not exist. I bow to all the teachers who teach according to reality, and here I write down the unerring words that dispel confusion. Here, even yogis are harmed by those higher and higher due to differences in intelligence. In this way, regarding the words of the Tathagata, either through conjecture, or through partiality, or through self-creation, disrupting the order, or making additions and subtractions, or without the instructions of the Buddhas and the ten Bhumis, or without the five kinds of superknowledge, with the pride of being skilled in common subjects such as grammar and logic, explaining the meaning of the profound definitive Sutras and Tantras, for the benefit of all who follow ordinary Pandit and others, I have collected the following words: The noble Lord Avalokiteśvara, spoke of the errors made by those who are not authorized to explain the meaning of the supreme vehicle, who make explanations and self-created discourses, and so on. As it is said: Whoever lacks superknowledge, abiding in the glorious Vajrayana, in many treatises, with discriminating thoughts as the essence of the Dharma, and with the pride of being wise, makes great and extensive commentaries, that one is like a drunken blind elephant, for the sake of conquering the lineage of the enemy, but where he dwells, he destroys his own lineage, this is always a friend of the demon. One who possesses the pride of being wise, does not understand the words of the Victorious One, always blind in nature, makes extensive commentaries on the supreme vehicle, causing other blind ones to fall, and leading them into hell. On the path of regret and killing, etc., non-virtuous deeds, his mind is drawn by the pleasure of women, the bliss of glorious wisdom is lost, the Vajra vows are destroyed, and he is overwhelmed by external enjoyments. As it is said:
