etc., are complete with many qualities. In the Uttaratantra, it says: "The nature of whatever dharma exists in earth etc., is not of space. The qualities of space, such as unobstructedness, do not exist in form." etc. Therefore, there is no conditioned or unconditioned thing that does not have its own dharma or qualities. Although most of the universally afflicted dharmas are not qualities, all the dharmas of the ultimate truth, which are naturally pure, are solely qualities. With this in mind, in the Mother Prajnaparamita, it says: "All dharmas are virtuous, all dharmas are blameless, all dharmas are without outflows, all dharmas are without afflictions, all dharmas are pure, all dharmas are transcendent, all dharmas are unconditioned, and are not separate from anything." Thus, it was well taught. Therefore, to believe that there is the Sugata-garbha but that it does not have its dharma or qualities contradicts all the extremely pure scriptures, reasoning, and profound instructions. Therefore, those who wish for the well-being of themselves and others should abandon it far away. If it is not abandoned, it will become a great evil view, and one will become impoverished in dharma and experience immeasurable suffering. If it is said that the Sugata-garbha has its own dharmas but they are not qualities, then there is not even a little bit of pure proof for this, and there are immeasurable great harms, because it is very clearly and repeatedly taught in the five Heart Sutras, the ten Definitive Meaning Sutras, and other very numerous profound Mahayana scriptures. Please be wary of the enemy of deceitful pretense, and examine it carefully with an impartial mind, and then it will become clear. Or, in reality, there is no difference in knowable objects that does not have its own dharma. If someone believes that it exists, then what is it? To which category of dharma does it belong? Please ask for a detailed and thorough clarification. To which of the aggregates, elements, and sources does it belong? Similarly, the knowable, the five bases, the five dharmas, the four dharmas, the four truths, the four tantras, the three dharmas, the three natures, the three inner, outer, and other, the three bases, paths, and results, the three views, meditations, and actions, the three vehicles, the meaning of the three turnings of the wheel, the conventional and the ultimate, the middle and the end, etc.

Habits and Dharma-nature, self-nature and artificiality, intrinsic and adventitious, essence and chaff, conditioned and unconditioned, matter and mind, consciousness and wisdom, self-arising and other-arising, self-awareness and awareness of others, self-nature and vastness, arising result and liberation result, arising agent and purifying agent, the sphere of activity of speculators and the sphere of activity of yogis, etc. All these, which are said to be extremely numerous categories of Dharma, should be mentioned one by one. Please calm your mind and consider which category the Dharma you desire belongs to, and inquire carefully in a peaceful and gentle manner. If you search diligently in this way, then wise, impartial, and truth-seeking people will be able to thoroughly understand what is to be known and make a clear decision. For other wrong thoughts, other wrong views, other evil views, and all that has arisen and will arise, always remember this principle. Therefore, the Dharmas of suffering and arising are faults, but all the Dharmas of the Tathagatagarbha are virtues, and cannot be faults. Furthermore, if someone thinks that even if the view is wrong, it is okay if the conduct is not wrong, then (know that): the fault in discipline is greater, the fault in view never occurs. By discipline, one goes to good destinies, by view, one goes to the supreme state. And so on, and: even if a person with wrong views practices virtue, all the results will be inexhaustible. And: the non-existent one goes to bad destinies, the existent one goes to good destinies, not abiding in the two, one is liberated, because of fully knowing the truth. And so on, also see and realize and practice, and widely and correctly show it to others. All the statements about abandoning unseen Dharmas having great sins are also the same. If it is said that the Tathagatagarbha or its qualities are not inherently non-existent, but always present, universally like the sky, and therefore it is admitted that it is established as either real or unreal, then one has only grasped a little bit and has not reached the Middle Way. Even if it is established in its nature, it is not established as either real or unreal, but has abandoned these two extremes, and the middle state of the three skandhas is the state of a hermaphrodite, which is Vajrasattva.
