Na, twelfth volume, first chapter. Na, twelfth volume, first chapter. From there, at the seventh page and nine and a half lines, look and contemplate. Those are: "Faults!" This fourth meaning has been spoken. What symbolizes becoming a definition? The knowable is also threefold. Knowledge is special. Whatever the essence symbolizes. Among the four definitions, the first definition to be understood is: the Tathagata appears. Why is that? Because what arises from this is the Tathagata. From there, on the second page where three and a half lines are missing: The self-nature of the imperishable world! Petitioner: Blessed One. From there, at three and a half lines: It is not to show complete destruction. Named thus, the Prajnaparamita only sees the suchness of the aggregates. It is not the aggregates of imputation. This is what the great Madhyamika said. From there, with four lines remaining: The behavior of sentient beings' minds! Subhuti, immeasurable sentient beings. From there, on the fourth page and nine and a half lines: If it is not present and not visible in this itself. Named thus, in the non-discriminating Prajnaparamita, if the self-nature of Prajnaparamita is realized and there is no object, then how can one objectify and show phenomena such as form as real? This is what is said. This is what the commentary on the Hundred Thousand Prajnaparamita says. Does form exist? How can it be objectified? Named thus, it is the object and the objectifier, or, when it becomes equal by equality. In the discriminating Prajnaparamita, Prajnaparamita itself does not appear, let alone form, etc.? This is the summary of this sentence. This is what the great Madhyamika said. From there, on the second page and four lines: Second chapter. That collection and review! Subhuti, also. From there, about six and a half lines remaining: Completely know! Named thus, because seeing the Dharma-nature of the mind, for the collection and distraction of the mind, it is not as it is, and knowing it as non-existent, it is called knowing the collection and distraction of the mind. This is what the great Madhyamika, the second omniscient Dignaga, said. The aspect of inexhaustibility! Subhuti, also.

Thus Gone. Then at nine and a half lines, there are attachments, etc., and Subhuti. Furthermore, Thus Gone One. Then, with one page remaining, the true suchness of the mind is not so. Here, the meaning of this phrase should be understood: The mind with attachment is not the true suchness and is not the truth, so abandoning it, one fully knows in the manner of true suchness. This is the meaning of the sentence. The great Madhyamika said so. Then, with one page remaining, one truly and completely knows as it is, regarding what is called the mind free from ignorance. Extensive, etc., and Subhuti. Then, with about one line remaining, one fully knows. By "thus," etc., it will be taught as follows: This mind is vast. The mind of others is timid. This mind is increasing. The mind of others is decreasing. This mind is special. The mind of others is not special. Relying on this Perfection of Wisdom that does not observe, one fully knows that the mind is vast, and that there are no things, neither existent nor non-existent, without inherent existence, that is, regarding the vast mind, one fully knows that the mind is vast, and one truly and completely knows that it is without things. This is what is to be taught. The great Madhyamika said so. Then at six lines, one fully knows as it is. Become great, and Subhuti. Then at seven and a half lines, one fully knows. Immeasurable, etc., and Subhuti. Then again at seven and a half lines, one fully knows. Indescribable consciousness, and Subhuti. Then with five lines remaining, one fully knows. Invisible mind, and Subhuti. Furthermore, then with about three lines remaining, it does not appear, which is the imputed mind due to accumulation. It also does not exist by its own nature, because it is of the nature of non-existence, so it does not appear before the eyes of those who see only. Therefore, the mind is invisible. This is the meaning of the sentence. The great Madhyamika teacher Vasubandhu said so. Then at about two and a half lines, one fully knows. That consciousness, called movement, etc., and Subhuti. Again
