Then scatter various grains and flowers and ask for activities: Om! Please listen, great boundless Dragon King! Please listen, eight Dragon Kings! Please listen, assembly of serpent spirits and earth lords! In the past, in the presence of the Bhagavan Buddha, Protect the Three Jewels, increase the happiness of sentient beings, The Dragon King who vowed to protect the world! Boundless seven great dragons and others, Earth lords and serpent spirits, natives of this land, And the sky-goers, the four season goddesses, and non-human beings! I entrust you all without exception to accomplish activities: The precious teachings of the omniscient Victor, May it flourish and last long in all times and places! May the holders of the teachings, without sectarianism, Be harmonious and keep the precepts, practice the three trainings, Of the three sections, the nine spheres, the four tantras, and the six tantras, May the teaching and practice not decline, but increase from above! May all suffering in the world be pacified! May they live manifestly with happiness and glory! May the minds of sentient beings possess the ten virtues, Purify the defilements of the ten non-virtuous actions! May hail, frost, insects, untimely rain in the fields, All unfavorable years and diseases be pacified! Since the crops that are due to ripen have not ripened, May you send down a great stream of good rain! May the essence of the grains be ripe and plump, satisfying to look at, May you grant the power to eat the six sacred grains in abundance! May the diseases of unruly livestock, lung disease, swelling, and fainting, And throat blockage, thirst, and epidemics be pacified! May they live manifestly with inexhaustible precious treasures, May strength, power, dragons, and merit be equal!
