This also lies in the letters themselves, hearing and contemplating the scriptures, writing the letters, and giving away scriptures, all of which constitute fully upholding the sacred Dharma. Each letter, being the manifestation of the Vajra Speech, possesses the nature of fully completing all the mandalas of the Sugatas. Therefore, creating it is the supreme act of creating images, and from writing scriptures to printing, it is truly superior in many ways.

As it is said, it is accomplished by the power of reason. The great King of Oddiyana, having distilled the essence of all the tantric scriptures into a nectar, and entrusted it with prayers to the supreme heart-sons of the king and subjects, in order to destroy the degeneration of the degenerate age, the unsurpassed profound Dharma hidden as treasures, when the interdependent circumstances ripen, the wonderful emanation treasure revealers bring forth from the treasures, these are the profound Dharmas that arise in due time. The essence of the tantras, agamas, and instructions, the key secrets of generation, completion, and great perfection stages, the pure heart-blood of the wisdom dakinis, in order for these to flourish, develop, and abide long in the world, the scattered ones are collected, made into volumes, and spread in all directions, this activity is a cloud of offerings that pleases the Buddhas. Serving the Dharma and serving the Guru is unsurpassed. As it is said in the Sutra called the Essence of the Tathagata: "Ananda, any Bodhisattva who holds this Dharma discourse, recites it, extensively and correctly teaches it to others, and makes it into a book and holds it, should generate the thought: 'I have now attained the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment.'" And in the Tantra Equal to the Limit of Space: "With the seven precious things and so on, the nature of all the Buddhas, the essence of all that is gathered, is the embodiment of body, speech, and mind." And in the Guru's Oral Instructions, the Heart Essence Wish-Fulfilling Jewel: "Even where a mere scripture resides, all those places are equal to the Vajra Akanishta, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and the lineage of Vidyadharas bless it, the heroes and dakinis gather like clouds, the Dharma protectors serve like servants." And so on, as the benefits are extensively taught in the sutras and tantras, let alone benefiting the Dharma through teaching, listening, contemplation, and meditation, merely the original texts of the Buddha's words and treasure texts, and the volumes that emanate from one into many, wherever they reside, all disharmony is pacified, and all worldly and peaceful goodness naturally gathers, therefore immeasurable merit is accumulated. 桑丹益西林巴的，意藏地藏净显等所代表的，汇集全集母本新造后，由此一化为多，此乃稀有奇妙。于此勤勉清净之善所代表的，三时所积之善行如缓流，以无缘三轮清净作印，于法界原始之海中悉皆汇集。以此甚深法兴盛广大之威力，愿教法兴盛，持教者莲足稳固。众生安乐，息灭疾病饥荒刀兵战乱，实现圆满新时代的喜宴。愿三传承上师之加持云聚，本尊空行降下成就甘霖，护法守卫无碍成办事业，愿甚深伏藏教法兴盛广大。如是名为《目录宝鬘》者，乃是应伏藏法印经之意力显赫之上师丹贝尼玛以财物供养殷勤劝请，故由名号玉科益丹多杰者，于将所有伏藏法以算术方式录入、汇集、校对等一并进行之余暇书写，于铁鼠年（1900，1960，2020）首月上弦初七，冬至节日的末尾完成，甚为吉祥圆满。善哉！善哉！善哉！ 桑丹益西林巴之伏藏法如意宝藏之目录宝鬘。

May beings be happy, and may disease, famine, weapons, and conflict be pacified, May the feast of a new golden age be manifested. May the clouds of blessings of the three lineages of lamas gather, May the yidams and dakinis bestow the nectar of accomplishments, May the Dharma protectors and guardians accomplish unobstructed activities, May the profound treasure teachings flourish and expand. This, called "The Garland of Jewels, a Catalogue," was written in addition to the task of converting all the treasure teachings into calculations, compiling, and proofreading, as requested with great diligence and offerings by Lama Tenpai Nyima, whose power of mind for printing treasure teachings is clearly high, So, called Yukhok Yidam Dorje, it was completed on the seventh day of the waxing moon of the first month of the Iron Rat year (1900, 1960, 2020), at the end of the winter solstice festival, which is very virtuous and auspicious.
