Once, the Blessed One dwelt on Mount King, in the palace of Auspicious Accumulation, in the garden of Flower Accumulation, in the tent of Vajra Accumulation, seated upon a throne of piled jewels, upon a lotus and moon cushion. 于是，对薄伽梵做了许多绕行，在如来面前，右膝着地，这样祈请道：世尊，对于具有吉祥的无量眷属们，祈请您宣说一个于初中后皆善，能使一切不吉祥完全寂灭，能使一切吉祥完全汇集，能消除一切过失，能完全聚集一切优良功德，能带来光辉和善缘的经典。 这样祈请之后，薄伽梵面带微笑，这样说道：妙吉祥和其他能带来吉祥的眷属们，请听着。我过去以婆罗门之身，在这堪忍世界中，寿命能活千年的时候，从圆满正等觉佛吉祥一切生光辉威耀光那里，听闻并受持、读诵、讲述了名为《吉祥积聚》的大乘经典，这部具有千种功德的法类。仅仅是听闻和念诵，就能使最初吉祥且善妙，中间吉祥且善妙，最后吉祥且善妙。一切众生因业和因缘的力量，导致短命多病，以及盲聋喑哑、斜眼弱视，还有瘸背驼背、白癜风、赘疣、脊柱弯曲，以及身上长瘤子，身上有烂肉、多余的肉、肉痣，还有肢体、小肢体和感官有残缺等恶相，以及恶兆，恶梦和凶兆，不祥之兆等一切不吉祥完全寂灭，能使吉祥、光辉和福德完全汇集。年月时辰日期，以及星宿不祥，书写念诵讲说禅修不祥，做事和吃饭，缝衣服和盖房子，走在路上不祥，求友和盖房子，行走和生产，牲畜和牛羊交配不祥，生病死亡抬尸体，埋葬死者做丧事不祥等等的罪过和过失全部消除，能完全聚集一切优良功德，能带来光辉和善缘。妙吉祥，如此的《吉祥积聚大经典功德庄严王》这部法蕴本身，

Then, having circumambulated the Bhagavan many times, in front of the Tathagata, with his right knee on the ground, he requested thus: "Bhagavan, for the immeasurable retinue endowed with auspiciousness, please teach a sutra that is virtuous in the beginning, middle, and end, that completely pacifies all inauspiciousness, that completely gathers all auspiciousness, that eliminates all faults, that completely gathers all excellent qualities, and that brings splendor and good fortune." After this request, the Bhagavan, with a smile on his face, spoke thus: "Manjushri and other retinues who bring auspiciousness, listen. In the past, in the body of a Brahmin, in this world of endurance, when I could live for a thousand years, from the perfectly complete Buddha called 'Glorious Light of Radiance,' from whom all auspiciousness arises, I heard, held, recited, and taught this Mahayana sutra called 'Accumulation of Auspiciousness,' this category of Dharma with a thousand qualities. Years, months, hours, dates, as well as inauspicious constellations, inauspicious writing, reading, speaking, and meditating, inauspicious actions and eating, sewing clothes and building houses, inauspiciously walking on the road, seeking friends and building houses, walking and giving birth, inauspiciously mixing livestock and cattle, sickness, death, carrying corpses, burying the dead, performing funeral rites, etc., all sins and faults are eliminated, and it completely gathers all excellent qualities, and it brings splendor and good fortune.
