Subsequent Guidance. Subsequent Guidance. Mantra for Achieving Enlightenment in the Bardo for Those of Medium Faculty and Diligence. Natural Bardo. In the middle, the third section of the guidance on the meaning of virtue is the subsequent guidance. From the order of medium and inferior faculties and diligence, there are two stages of guidance. First, the mantra for achieving enlightenment in the bardo for those of medium faculty and diligence is: Even if one has sharp faculties and is endowed with great diligence, due to obstacles caused by circumstances, or those of the class of medium faculty of hearing and diligence, it is said that among the four bardos, one will be liberated at any time before death. Therefore, one must learn the mantra for liberation there from now on. That is, in general, the phenomena that appear as the basis of appearance, wisdom, are the pure dharmata bardo, and the phenomena that are included in the six realms of delusion are the impure delusion bardo. From the beginning of the basis, it appears, until the mind with seeds is not completed in the basis of reappearance, it is the bardo. Specifically, here, in the root tantra, it says, "If divided, there are four kinds." As it says, the bardo of nature, death, dharmata, and existence. Among the four definite boundaries of the bardo. The first is: From the completion of birth in the mother's womb until the onset of a serious illness that is certain to lead to death, it is called the bardo of nature or the place of birth. To cut off the imputation by hearing and thinking about it, a teaching like a merchant going to the Golden Island or an owl entering its nest is necessary. That is, just as a merchant accumulates ship equipment and an owl examines its nest. From now on, relying on the noble lama, one must not give in to laziness and procrastination in the activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating as he teaches, but diligently strive to cut off imputations, so that even when the time of death comes, one will not be sad or afraid, but will be as happy and joyful as a son going to his father's house. Bardo of Dying. The second is: From the moment of death until the inner breath is cut off, it is called the bardo of dying. For that, a teaching like a king sending a message, or a beautiful woman looking in a mirror to make the unclear clear, is necessary. That is, although this teaching is not necessary for those who are Dzogchen practitioners who die like young children without calculating the signs of death, where they will die, or when they will die. However, the best of the middle class, due to external circumstances,
