Furthermore, the Great Perfection oral instructions are, the view is extremely secret. In the view of non-doing, one sees with the eye of non-seeing. Thus it is said. In the tantra it says: All inner and outer secrets, one sees and realizes in their own nature. Thus it is said. In the Scripture Without Letters it says: Because there is no seeing, there is nothing to see there. One should know seeing in the state of non-doing. Thus, if one realizes the meaning of non-dual seeing, then in the meaning of seeing, seeing is naturally absent. Since it is neither existent nor non-existent, one should abide in the state of that luminosity. Thus it is said. In the Lion's Perfect Strength it says: The ultimate view of all Buddhas does not go beyond the two, space and wisdom. Thus it is said. In the Lamp That Illuminates it says: For example, if one goes to the top of the king of mountains, one sees the lower mountains. Likewise, one sees the meaning of the lower tantras as they are. The lower ones do not see the higher ones. Thus it is said. In short, the essence of luminosity is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and its compassion arises unceasingly, which is the view of meditative equipoise. And these appearances of samsara and nirvana, realizing that they appear but have no inherent existence, like a reflection of the moon in water, is the view in the post-meditation state. The best practitioners have no remainder, the middling ones in the intermediate state, and the lowest ones attain Buddhahood in the pure land of the Nirmāṇakāya. In the Union of Sun and Moon it says: The best do not need two births, the middling ones are in between two births, and the lowest ones, when exhaling, the Nirmāṇakāya liberates their own continuum. Thus it is said. The Yoga of Meditation. Secondly, in the yoga of meditation, the view of non-doing to be meditated upon, the continuous mind and consciousness that meditates, and the method of posture, etc., are the essence of meditation. Abiding continuously in the samādhi that possesses that essence is called meditation. Divided, there are the meditation of method, wisdom, and the indivisibility of method and wisdom. The former includes limitless practices such as inner heat and skillful means. Here, the meaning of the above view, the union of space and wisdom, skillful means and wisdom, the state of emptiness and clarity, non-grasping, is to remain single-pointedly in equipoise, without laziness in between, which is called the meditation of the union of day and night. The way to practice it is to divide it into sessions, without laziness or idleness, generating bodhicitta at the beginning of each session, without object or distraction during the main practice, and sealing it with dedication at the end of the session. In short, without straying from the view of meditative equipoise, clarity and emptiness, non-grasping, and in the post-meditation state, dreams and illusions are like

Thus, one practices in this way. Moreover, it is said in the tantra: "The essence of meditation is method, what is meditated upon and the meditator are the meditation of method." And, "The definition of meditation is because of abiding." And, "The meditation of union of method, and the meditation of wisdom itself, and the meditation of non-duality of method and wisdom, that is the most profound meditation." And, "That very view is called meditation in meaning. Since day and night pass with Dharma, therefore meditate in union." And, "Having abandoned laziness and negligence, one should constantly abide in meditation." And, "The meditation free from the duality of emptiness and clarity is the best of all meditations." Thus it is said. The Yoga of Conduct. Third, regarding the yoga of conduct, not abandoning pleasure and pain, being equanimous, and enhancing view and meditation is the essence of conduct. Since all are known as self-knowing, self-arising, and self-liberating, therefore, whatever appears is practiced without acceptance or rejection, hence it is called conduct. There are three divisions: Conduct that is the opposite of ordinary activity, as it is said in the tantra of the Abhisamayalankara: "Writing letters, making offerings, giving alms, listening, reading, and holding, explaining, reciting, contemplating the meaning, and meditating, these ten are the door of Dharma, they are the footprints of the guides." Thus it is said. The conduct of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is also the same as before. Here, the conduct of asceticism for the sake of the path is that, in order to make view and meditation coincide and enhance them, if one is attached, one increases practice with a friend; if one is unattached, one wanders in charnel grounds or empty valleys in the manner of a beggar or a wounded animal, together with the mudra of experience, like a bee, and like a wild animal, a mute, a partridge, a madman, a lion, a dog, and a pig, the seven conducts are practiced in accordance with the order of the senses, which is called the conduct of asceticism of mastery. The way to practice it is: relying on one's own capacity, a beginner starts by seeking learning and contemplation, like a bee, up to the conduct of a yogi who is equanimous between pleasure and pain, good and bad, these seven aspects arise naturally, without interruption, and are practiced when the conditions are ripe. It is said in the tantra: "The essence of conduct is equanimity, self-arising and self-liberating are practiced on the path." And in Self-Arising: "The conduct of non-action itself is naturally arising, uncorrected, corrected
