That king of the land, too, is inseparable from the emptiness of all dharmas, so the self-nature is the dharmata. In that expanse of the ultimate reality, the basis of appearance and existence is complete without moving from its ground, hence it is the Great Perfection. For example, just as the sky pervades all things and the sky does not abandon all things, so the dharmata Great Perfection pervades all dharmas, and the Great Perfection does not abandon any dharma, hence it abandons nothing. The characteristics of things, such as shape and color, are not in the sky, but the sky transcends their realm. Similarly, all things and characteristics that exist in all phenomena, as well as speech and so on, are not in the dharmata Great Perfection, but the Great Perfection transcends their realm, hence the meaning of transcending all. Thus, the dharmadhatu, the dharmata Great Perfection, reveals the original abiding of the basis, the original abiding, the self-essence of primordial awareness. Then, that very thing is determined in the view of Kadak Trekchö, the dharmakaya of inseparable appearance and liberation, which is: When a sudden thought arises in the realm of objects, one does not make any clinging or acceptance of either the arising object or the arising thought, but looks at the essence of whatever arises, so the thought is self-purified, and the uncorrected self-nature arises. That is the vast expanse of awareness and wisdom that pervades the spontaneously accomplished three kayas, hence it is the spontaneously pervasive realm of unattached awareness. Thus, having seen the self-face of the view, one abides in that state without manipulating the mind, so the thought is self-purified, and one abides in the meditation of natural self-nature, which is natural abiding. At that time, although various unimpeded powers of awareness arise from the state of unborn, they play in the state of non-attachment, hence it is self-liberation. Whatever thought arises, one stares intently at its essence, and when the thought vanishes by itself, one sees the original essence more clearly, which is focused seeing. Such a view and practice is also free from all attachments to experiences such as bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, so the self-nature is like this, beyond the realm of conceptual thought, hence it is inconceivable. This primordially uncorrected state, self-knowing and self-aware, is only protected by mindfulness, which is the key point of practice, hence it is natural self-nature. If one grasps it with conceptual mind and manipulates the mind, the more one manipulates it, the further one goes astray, so do not manipulate or adulterate it. Thus, the uncorrected dharmata self-nature.

Those who do not understand are confused about the path of Ati Yoga, by what kind of confusion are they confused? It is precisely because of this kind of confusion that they abandon the unadulterated nature of mind and take artificiality as the path. Therefore, abandoning the nature, to the very mind abiding in the state of primordial liberation, they apply strict intellectual speculation, thereby falling into the box of hope and fear, and thus imposing a strict box on the very mind. Like this, falling into the box of hope and fear, thinking "this is right, this is wrong," repeatedly modifying with conceptual mind, modifying and modifying again, merely modifying these, yet unable to see the core meaning from it, the view and meditation created by conceptual mind cannot be determined, thus obscuring the core meaning. Just as the sky can never be knotted from the beginning, so there is no need to untie it, the nature of mind abides in the state of primordial liberation, yet vainly striving, presuming to be able to liberate, but unable to liberate, therefore it is impossible to liberate. Those who strive and modify in this way, yet want to liberate, are like a worm binding itself with its own saliva, being bound again by the sectarianism they desire, therefore it will bind again. If we summarize these key points, it is that this ordinary consciousness now, without any conceptual fabrication or modification, is called the awareness of the fundamental abiding, and is also called Ati Yoga. Similarly, it is also named Mahamudra, Mahamadhyamaka, free from elaboration, unborn, etc. But in reality, this ordinary consciousness, naked self-knowing, recognizing it itself is called view, the above is the content of the first part. The second part is: Like this, the view of recognizing one's own nature, in this unadulterated state, relaxing and abiding, away from artificial fabrication, this is meditation, therefore, in whose mind does a space of relaxation exist? Like this, abiding in the natural state, slightly without distraction, awareness has self-born contemplation, therefore it is impossible to be separated from the samadhi of the natural state, therefore there is no need for any artificial fabrication, acceptance and rejection, therefore the nature itself does not need modification. In this state of natural abiding, when various thoughts and conceptualizations project and flow onto the objects, first recognize the flow of thoughts. Then, abiding in the state of seeing one's own nature, thoughts naturally purify, liberating as they arise, leaving no trace, therefore the flowing and seeing liberate simultaneously, even if good thoughts arise in a virtuous form, this is also good
