For the sake of placement. Come here with a mind free from hope and fear! Ah nri su tri pre du am ku sha ja (藏文,梵文天城体:अनृ सुत्रि प्रे दु अ कु श ज,梵文罗马拟音:anri sutri pre du a ku sha ja,汉语字面意思:Without deception, well spoken, victorious, to, hook, born). Holding the name tag. Alas! This beautiful pennant is the support of the body. The name card is the support of speech. The clear mirror is the support of mind. The silk clothes and umbrella are the palace. The white felt cushion and cane are the grasping wood. Please let the deceased abide in this support of the body! Tishtha samaya laha (藏文,梵文天城体:तिष्ठ समय लह,梵文罗马拟音:tistha samaya laha,汉语字面意思:Abide, vow). A close relative holds the name tag. Alas! Like me, sentient beings with bad karma, due to the power of negative actions such as hatred, stinginess, ignorance, jealousy, and arrogance, desire, fall into the six realms of samsara, and experience suffering. Please liberate me from this negative karma of samsara! Thus, visualize the deceased speaking. Recount the story of the Brahmin Conch, saying this: Alas! Deceased one, you have abandoned your body, due to the power of hatred, stinginess, ignorance, jealousy, and arrogance, desire, and reckless behavior, you have accumulated negative karma by indulging in the ten non-virtuous actions. If the ripening result of that is to be born in the six realms, I pray that the six Bhagavan Thubpas who protect the six realms, abide here, take refuge in them, and speak these words: Obtain the Dharma of patience, may hatred be purified, pacify the heat and cold suffering of hell. Dharma King, I take refuge in you! Obtain the Dharma of generosity, may stinginess be purified, with a treasure chest, relieve the hunger and thirst of the pretas. Bhagavan Flaming Mouth, I take refuge at your feet! Obtain the Dharma of wisdom, may ignorance be purified, with scriptures, relieve the suffering of the dumb and foolish animals. Bhagavan Lion Brave Stable, I take refuge in you! Obtain the Dharma of morality, may jealousy be purified, pacify the suffering of the Asuras fighting with weapons. Bhagavan Good Cord, I take refuge in you! Obtain the Dharma of meditation, may arrogance be purified, with a lute, relieve the suffering of death and transference. Bhagavan Indra, I take refuge in you! Obtain the Dharma of diligence, may laziness be purified, with a slate, purify the karmic obscurations of birth and death. Bhagavan Shakya Thubpa, I take refuge in you! Then is the empowerment, holding the butter lamp and bathing vase. Hum. Empowerment of fire and water that protects from heat and cold. By bestowing this empowerment upon you, deceased one, may you be liberated from the heat and cold suffering of hell. The suffering of Naraka
