The Chapter on Signs and Measures is Complete. The Chapter on Signs and Measures is Complete. Here, merely out of curiosity, I stayed in a dark retreat for a month. Only the merit of increasing virtue arose. In the darkness where one could not see the stretching and bending of one's hand, With a special way of looking in the darkness, Like the rising of the sun and moon, Even though the house was clearly illuminated, It became such that nothing could be seen. Also, an impression was left on the meaning of dark guidance. In my own small retreat room, The tip of a five-colored rainbow was stuck. When chasing this rainbow, it disappeared, Although it is not seen when viewed from here, But when viewed from the Lama's chamber, That five-colored tip of the rainbow, Is stuck in my room, and I am happy. Even if it is stuck, what is there to be happy about? In the illusion of a dream, In the center of a drawn mandala, On each cubit's space, On each form resembling a throne, In the center is the Great Supreme Heruka, On a scale of varying sizes, The Father and Mother, complete with ornaments and expressions. Surrounded by many wrathful deities, Although the ornaments are not very clear, The forms are seen clearly. This is the Kagye (bka' brgyad) mandala, A certainty arose that it was so. Although some fever-like illnesses arose, Emphasis was placed on the meaning of equal taste. Not much help was received from others. Then gradually it improved and went away. These are the dark signs of darkness. Or in the direction of U-Tsang (dbus gtsang), There is a famous person who is wise and good, A dream arose that I was him. To say his name would be too much, Therefore, his name will not be written. From then until now, From one life to another, All that has not been interrupted, I seem to remember in a dream. Those names have not been written, The rest is written only out of curiosity. All the familiar sights of the past, Are like the appearance of a dream and illusion. They arose in several dual appearances. Having grasped the dream, thinking of going to Sukhavati, Or thinking of going to the Glorious Mountain, Having gone, I did not arrive there, In a very large temple, The thought arose that it was Vajrasana. Having the form of a mandala, Surrounded by many stupa-shaped circumambulations, Circumambulated by monks, nuns, and others, And there was an immeasurable assembly of wrathful deities. Having seen it, and then looking from there, On the top of a high mountain, A castle with a banner planted was seen. That was in the past

It is a demon, I think it is the castle of Matram Rudra. Ah-thung burns upwards, Ah-hum sinks downwards, The play of skillful means and wisdom, the four joys, etc., I had a little experience. The breath flows from the ears, Even just awareness arose. Not feeling the breath flowing from the nose, It also happened in some cases. Never spoken of in all vehicles, The special Dharma of unsurpassed Ati, The essence of the heart of Kuntuzangpo, Called the Great Perfection Tögal, The clear light Vajra Chain, The direct appearance of Dharmata, Was seen at this time. Almost all thoughts and concepts, If practice does not diminish now, By the compassion of Lama Kuntuzangpo, Awareness fully appearing and, The result of the exhaustion of Dharmata, etc., May be seen. Or at an inappropriate time, From the treasure of a single treasure revealer, There was a prophecy that it had appeared. In meditation, I myself am, An emanation or reincarnation of a good person. I dreamed of such a prophecy. In the mere appearance of a dream, The Bhagavan, the King of Sages, Came before me, Possessing the three qualities of example, meaning, and words, After teaching many excellent Dharmas, Disappeared right there. Truly, a good and pleasant fragrance, Emanated very strongly and had a taste. Here, the mantra has both meaning and words, There are eight hundred thousand. There are two hundred thousand scattered recitations.
