Generate effort in diligence. The root of Dharma is compassion and Bodhicitta. With that, whatever virtuous deeds are done are Bodhi. The object of meditation is all sentient beings. There is no one who has not been one's kind parent. The desire for happiness and the aversion to suffering are the same. Therefore, think of benefiting and bringing happiness to all beings. Meditate on immeasurable compassion to the best of your ability. Loving-kindness is the wish for sentient beings to be happy, and great compassion is the wish to be free from all suffering. Joy is being inseparable from happiness without suffering, and equanimity is impartiality towards all appearances. With the motivation of the four immeasurables, repeatedly meditate on the supreme Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta means the altruistic intention to benefit others. Equality of all and freedom from fixation is the cause of Buddhahood. Offering and giving to those who are unable is generosity, and if one can be free from clinging to reality, it is going beyond. Guarding the three vows without deterioration is morality, and if the nature of mind is pure from the beginning, it is going beyond. Enduring harm from others is patience, and if there is no self or other, it is going beyond. Accomplishing virtuous deeds to the best of one's ability is diligence, and if it is pure like space without elaboration, it is going beyond. One's own mind abiding in one place is meditation, and if one abides in no self-nature, it is going beyond. Thoroughly distinguishing all dharmas is wisdom, and if one is free from arising, ceasing, and abiding, it is going beyond. Thus, the correct path of Bodhi is the six perfections. Please perfect it in a natural state of effort and non-effort. Understanding the teachings of the Victorious Ones is listening, and if one knows the reality as it is, one is wise. Cutting off the imputation of yes or no is thinking, and if there is no error or doubt, one is great wisdom. Cultivating the reality of Dharma is meditation, and if there is no interruption in shamatha and vipashyana, one possesses realization. For the unerring listening, thinking, and meditation, do not be distracted, but practice like removing chaff. The source of Dharma is a place of extreme solitude. Reside alone and practice the actual practice. The conducive condition for Dharma is abandoning activities. Abandon all deluded activities to the best of your ability. The obstacle to Dharma is attachment to this life. Do not be attached to anything, and accomplish the lasting happiness of the next life. The source of Dharma is the Lama, the refuge. Always pray with reverence. The support of Dharma is the Sutras, Tantras, and pith instructions. Be consistent with the authoritative words of the scriptures. The flourishing of Dharma is realization and certainty. Increase from higher to higher, and one's own
