Named the Treasury of Verses. The Hidden Sun. Named the Treasury of Verses. The Hidden Sun. In Sanskrit: Gatha Kosha Nama. In Tibetan: Named the Treasury of Verses. Homage to youthful Manjushri. In all circumstances, Possessing all virtues, abandoning all faults, Whoever rules all the lands, I always pay homage to him. Virtues, faults, and sudden events are equal, This is the norm in the world. Just as a vulture naturally flies to the cemetery, And a swan naturally flies to the lake. Unruly beings always Hide the virtues of the wise. Hiding noble jewels To serve all. Even if beings are mixed with faults, Those with virtues will take the virtues. Separating milk from water, Who knows other than the swan? The unruly harm beings, The noble give benefits without satisfaction. Darkness does not illuminate the earth, The sun always makes it bright. The unruly to others Make critical accusations. Those skilled in debate are not wise. Just as poison can only cause harm, It cannot bring benefit. Noble people are very careful, Hiding the faults of others, similar to critics. However, there is a difference between these two, The noble hide, the critics speak. When cunning people torment greatly, One will especially remember the upright. When the world is scorched by the sun, One will especially desire the appearance of the moon. The wicked strive to separate others, The noble strive to reconcile. The hole gradually pierced by the needle Will be closed by the thread. Seeing others suffer, the wicked Will be happy, but the noble will not. Weapons made of iron, Mostly used on the battlefield. The wicked know how to slander, The noble know how to praise. Winter makes it dry, Spring days the forest blooms again. Vessels are especially quiet, With the nature of harm, arrogance, and roughness. In that time, great beings Mostly respect the foolish. Noble people avoid even small sins, The wicked do not avoid even great sins. The eyes fear even dust, The hand touches the flame. Overly praising inferior people and positions, Not considering helping with evil deeds, If unclean food is thrown upwards, It will fall on the head first.

Turn. For a guest of noble lineage and suitability, the hanging rope being cut is something that will happen in the future. The nourishment of the land is not good, like the hair and nails of an untamed person. From श्रेष्ठ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) comes श्रेष्ठ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), and from the inferior comes the inferior, which is natural; relying on caves produces darkness, and pours moonlight on the land. No matter how arrogant the wicked are, the decline of the noble lineage can suppress them. In front of the jewel of noble lineage, artificial jewels do not emit light. The fame of those with merit, spreading in ten directions, has a loud sound. A mirror full of dirt is not happy when an image appears. The sun sets in the sea, and the moon waxes and wanes, but others do not change. Even if those with merit decline, they will never lose their greatness. Life and youth, as well as the tip of a flame and the flow of water, cannot be returned after they have passed; the status of the untamed is also the same. The untamed who are biased towards their race do not reside on the basis of reason. Even if a rotting corpse is eaten, it will abandon the sandalwood tree. The wicked's nature of self-praise is innate and cannot be abandoned. When the moon rises, it will surely be placed on the head of the great自在 (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning). Ordinary people are like the wind, following the scent of others. Holy people are like sunlight, never stained by faults. Those who possess the law, abandoning harm to others, are happy even if they lose consciousness. The bow of इंद्र (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) without a string will become an ornament of the earth and sky. Where is the greatness of the untamed? Where is the decline of the noble lineage? Doing different wealth, how can a foolish nature not suffer? Great self-natures, even if they completely possess inferior lineages, will make them prosper. Skilled craftsmen, even if they are glass beads, will appear like jewels if they are changed with paint. Some focus on speaking, while others achieve things without speaking. Lotus flowers have no fruit, and pomegranate fruits have no flowers. It is not enough to be merely upright; the cunning of beings is not a fault. Arrows kill because they are straight, while shields protect the body because they are curved. Even if extremely fierce, choose uprightness. Evil deception is not a stove covered with thatch. The sun in a clear sky, even if obscured by clouds and not bright, will be very hot. If wealth leads, even foolish people will become wise and bright.
