One of them is, being very attached to evil doctrines, being deceived by the meaning of desire, just like a turtle deceiving a bird with its teeth. Those who are very untrustworthy, willingly pursue the causes of suffering, just like putting a wild animal into the throat. Some arrogant and evil people, without considering their own faults, are very satisfied with small merits, just like a frog in a well. Some foolish and blind people, without understanding the true meaning of the Dharma, are very satisfied with evil doctrines, just like a fool getting a treasure. Some very foolish people, talking a lot about the scene of death, but doing many things, know that they are deceived by demons. For good men and women, if they are very greedy, just like creatures moths flying into the fire, they will be destroyed by desire. Some horses, buffaloes, elephants, etc., are greedy for them, and people with strong desires are like being deceived by getting wealth in a dream. Very fond of sinful actions, not remembering good deeds, very greedy for the world, those who are like poison, have great suffering in this life, and are very afraid of Avici hell in the next life, and will remember the actions they have done in the bardo. The bright mirror is very terrible, and the good and evil deeds will appear, and there is no right to choose where to go, and will be taken to places they do not want to go, and the cause and effect of karma is not deceiving. The scenes I have seen, or many other scenes. Therefore, noble people should always remember death, and count the deeds they have done. For this short life, those who think they can live for a long time are extremely wrong, just like the illusion of a dakini. Therefore, do not generate a permanent mind, and remember the three evil realms. Cut off the sins of the body, such as killing, cut off the sins of speech, such as lying, and all must be cut off. Similarly, all the sins of the mind must be cut off, this is the behavior of noble people. Remember the hells of extreme heat and cold, remember the hungry ghosts who are emaciated by hunger and thirst, watch and remember the animals full of foolish suffering, and it is easy to cut off these causes.

Yoga practice. It is difficult to obtain a human body in Jambudvipa, If, upon obtaining it, one creates the cause for bad migrations, one should diligently cut it off. Having obtained a human body in this life, yet making prayers for the next life, that is a foolish and lazy person, who will deeply regret it in the realm of bad migrations, like someone kicking a stone while walking. It is like seeing a hungry ghost. Since the lifespan of this is uncertain, whether waking up today or in a month, or dying in a year, therefore, one should diligently strive for virtue. If one can deeply enter the Dharma, be it of caste or a servant, or even a Chakravartin king, the Buddha said that even a servant can attain nobility. Not entering the Dharma, and not guarding worldly shame, will be greatly despised and ridiculed, like the asceticism of a cat with a severed tail. Mountain rocks a fathom deep, even those are carefully guarded, why not guard against falling into a chasm that is extremely deep and bottomless? Even a wound the size of a mustard seed, one diligently heals, why not heal a wound that is unhealable and cracked like firewood? Even for a short time during the day, one cannot bear the lack of food and drink, why can one bear not having food and drink for intermediate kalpas and so on? Even one's own body, one cannot bear even the tip of a thorn, why can one bear others' bodies being separated from life by swords and the like? Wounds, insects, poisonous insects, wood insects, seeds, famine, fire born from trees, similarly, evil people only bring about their own destruction. Knowing the next life is the conduct of the wise, conquering the enemy of afflictions is the conduct of the brave, having no attachment is the conduct of practicing Dharma, understanding is the conduct of the learned. The conduct of understanding is practice, not being weary is the conduct of generosity, the conduct of discipline is non-judgment, the conduct of patience is knowing the nature of reality, the conduct of diligence is remembering death, the conduct of meditation is non-distraction, properly discerning is the conduct of wisdom, wishing for Buddhahood is the initial conduct, having few thoughts is the conduct of yoga, separating from worldly friends is the conduct of practitioners, having great compassion is the conduct of the diligent, the conduct of honesty is non-deception, being cautious and fearless, that is said to be the conduct of a king. Like that, not possessing these conducts, yet doing base and shameful deeds, the conduct of karma's cause and effect not being deceptive, the inferior conducts are these.
