不语最为语柔和，彼即彼之大损害。大海以及须弥山，世间诸地非我负。世间所作不知恩，彼乃我之大重负。何人心性不驯服，知恩报恩能觉察，不令所作成徒劳，彼为智者所赞叹。法乐慈爱即安乐，如入安乐之河流。不与朋友相争斗，我慢我执皆灭尽，是乐。骄慢虚伪我慢大，亲近罪恶之友伴，与有势力者相争，彼等之心不安乐。是故不应生骄慢，愤怒应当彻底舍。骄慢愤怒若生起，彼等之名声尽毁。何者于年老、孩童、病人，衰弱、失计、卑贱者，国王所弃及无依者，无有慈悲，彼等不配为人。舍弃自己之国土，前往他人之境域时，对于种种恶语，应当生起大忍耐。苦行之法即是忍，首要之法即苦行，显现之法即苦行之回遮，妇人之法即是苦行。如若不然，本性恶劣之人，慈爱不报，他人行善反忘却，怨恨所作之损害，无论有多少，轻蔑之语，亦如水般饮下。寿命、受用、亲友，一切兴盛皆难得，彼等衰败极易得。是故当心意低落之时，如乌鸦般不语，静默而住。若无财富，我方势单力薄，友伴一方势力亦弱小，敌方势力强大之时，不语恶语，静默而住。无有良善之行，骄慢心极重，狡诈无信，如乌鸦般喋喋不休，悭吝嫉妒，贪婪无耻，不知羞愧。此人纵为良友，亦当如他人般舍弃。如是卑劣恶劣之人，不应置于高位，不应留于彼处。纵置于彼处，亦无法压制其傲慢与骄横。譬如身披蓝色皮毛之狐狸。有些愚昧之人

Silence is the most gentle speech; it becomes a great harm to that. The ocean, Mount Meru, and so on, all the lands of the world are not my burden. Whoever does not appreciate the deeds done in the world, that becomes my great burden. Whoever's mind is untamed, appreciates and is aware of deeds, and does not let actions go to waste, is praised by the wise. Dharma is bliss, loving-kindness is bliss, like entering a river of bliss. It is bliss to have no quarrels with friends, and to have exhausted pride and arrogance. Arrogance and pretense are great pride. Associating with sinful friends and fighting against the powerful, their minds will not be at ease. Therefore, one should not be arrogant, and anger should be completely abandoned. If arrogance and anger arise, their fame will be destroyed. Whoever has no compassion for the elderly, children, the sick, the weak, the helpless, the lowly, those abandoned by the king, and the defenseless, they are not fit to be human. Having abandoned one's own country and gone to another's land, one should cultivate great patience in the face of various harsh words. The way of asceticism is patience. The chief way is ascetic practice. The way of manifestation is the reversal of asceticism. The way of women is asceticism. If not, a person of evil nature does not repay kindness, forgets the good done by others, and drinks in the harm done by hatred, no matter how much, like water. Life, prosperity, relatives, and friends are all difficult to flourish. It is very easy to find their decline. Therefore, when the mind becomes depressed, one should not speak like a crow, but remain silent. If one has no wealth, one's own side is weak, and the strength of one's friends is also small, when the enemy's side is strong, one should not speak harsh words, but remain silent. Without virtuous conduct, very arrogant with pride, deceitful and without faith, chattering like a crow, miserly, jealous, greedy, shameless, and without embarrassment, even if that person is a good friend, one should abandon them like others. Such a lowly and evil person should not be placed in a high position, nor should they be kept there. Even if placed there, one cannot suppress their arrogance and pride, like a fox with blue fur.
