Living in a place where there is no protector, Each one is like a wild animal, Able to be a reason for not being killed. Compared to what is done to people, If the suffering is even more profound, It is even more severe for animals, Please have compassion for them. For the sake of protecting yourself, I do not need to join my palms in prayer. Because I am clear about other traditions, I am respectful, You have already mastered the measure well. Learning from childhood, This is known as the tradition of the holy ones. Since this is the case, to you, the king, I pray as if to a beloved son. If what I say is not beneficial, Then I am willing to accept punishment. If it is completely beneficial, Please do as I ask. If doing so makes you unhappy, I will pray again and again. If my words are ignored by you, Then this promise will surely fail. If you are pleased, there will be no further pursuit, If you are displeased, be careful and wary. Because harm is like the sun and cannot be stopped, Therefore, please treat your subjects like a full moon. Please, like extracting honey from a thorny tree, Adopt good advice even from enemies. Just as poison grows on a golden mountain, You should abandon the evil words spoken by pleasing people. King among men, if you accomplish it through the means of excellent actions, This glory of eliminating harm to others, and the adornment of virtues, If you can become wealthy, then for the wavering heart that craves hundreds of good deeds, Even if it does not rely on it, it will involuntarily cling to you for a long time.
