With peace and fruits. You, with compassion, have mercy on those who are exhausted by suffering, in the wilderness of samsara. Like a vast and clear ocean, with deep grace, thoughts are pure. Forever cool, with the illusionary net, fearless, with the nature of being free from fear. Extremely pure, able to cut off desire, able to bear the burden of roughness. You, with compassion, have mercy on those who are exhausted by suffering, in the wilderness of samsara. Like great clouds benefiting beings, proclaiming the great sound of fearless speech. With great power, the force of heavy rain, moved by the wind of compassion. With dustless peace and the fragrance of discipline, may you adorn the earth. By speaking thus, whatever small merit I have accumulated. May it cause all beings to rejoice in the conduct of the Sugatas. May they always be happy, possess good resources, and may their wishes be fulfilled. May they be happy to benefit others, and from there gradually attain omniscience. May hell be as flat as the palm of the hand, eliminating everything, and may the flames be extinguished. May the dry land be covered with lotus leaves, and may the sprouts of the roots emerge. May the pure and fragrant lotus flowers bloom, adorning all places. May it flourish and be beautiful, with the scent of pollen, and may the drizzle fall. May the armies of demons wail in defeat, proclaiming without fear. May it be more joyful than the top of the celestial river, subduing gods and non-humans. May the Buddhas who destroy the cycle of birth and death, afflictions, and suffering. Like birds, may they appear in all directions, at all times. May the joy of beings in the Dharma increase, becoming a great celebration. May the expectations of the Lord of Death become futile. May the teachings of the Able One increase, and with the coolness of nectar, may the appearance of the rain-moon be fulfilled. The letter to the disciple, written by the great teacher Chandragomin, is complete. The Indian Abbot Sarvajñadeva, and the reviser-translator Bande Pelzang Rakshita, translated, revised, and finalized it. Letter to the Disciple. Chandragomin.
