It is the reason for generating joy. Then, the Venerable Joyful Friend extensively explained, and rose into the sky as high as seven Tala trees, and in front of those Sangha members, he displayed various twin miracles. Sitting in the sky above, he relinquished the activities of life and the activities of the vital force, and completely passed into Nirvana. Then, those monks cremated the body of the Venerable Joyful Friend and made a stupa, and offered it with incense, flowers, fragrant incense, lamps, umbrellas, victory banners, and flags. These methods have been transmitted and explained from noble one to noble one. Why is that? Because the givers and patrons all think that the Blessed One's teachings will remain for a long time, and in order to generate great joy, this realization story was told by the Noble Joyful Friend.
