As it is said, small, medium, and large, etc., are also distinguished by smallness, etc. In order to show the benefit of removing defilements, it is called "purification of defilements," and purification is abandonment. Defilement is affliction, and any affliction is defilement. "No place of rebirth" means no opportunity, which shows the abandonment of the karma of rebirth. Just as the place of rebirth is the place and the basis, so also the karma of the fruit of rebirth revolves like the aspect of the doer, and goes according to the control of the doer. Similarly, if afflictions are abandoned, since there is no projector, one does not enter the place of rebirth of the king of existence. Others say that it is separation from the abode of the mind. There are also five abodes of the mind, namely, the desire to abide, the Dharma, the Sangha, the precepts, and the subsequent teachings, etc., as stated in the sutras. In other places it is said that "no faults arise," which means without desire. The repeated mention of "purification of defilements" is to show that this is the main point. "From now on, there will be no birth or old age," which means that one will no longer grasp existence, nor will one obtain its transformation. This shows the fruit of the path of cultivation. If one does not strive with the correct method of practice, one cannot obtain this distinction. In order to show that point, "not for shame," etc., were mentioned. Many naked people without clothes, with much dirt on their bodies and a foul odor, approached the Blessed One and reported: We have heard that you, the ascetic Gautama, are pure among the four castes, and after observing, will you also accept the lowly? When were these words spoken? Others say that the mother died first, or was controlled by a hungry ghost. Whatever should not be ashamed of is that which is not shameful. Or the food of monks obtained without sin, or maintaining the body with food without sin, etc., and doing things for the sake of accepting lowly people, one should not act with shame and discouragement towards these.

The so-called 'shamelessness' refers to where one should feel ashamed, such as going naked. They are not ashamed of these things, nor do they shrink back, but show themselves as you are. Whoever has no shame is 'shameless.' 'Seeing fear in the fearless' means that there is no fear and no unpleasant result, which is 'fearless.' Or, because the good experience is the manifest desired result, it is seen as fear, but you see it as an unpleasant result. 'Seeing no fear in fear' means that where there is fear, that is, where there is great difficulty, you do not see any fear at all. Here, the story of those who crave existence and those who hold the vow of the cow should also be told, because the supreme among the sages said that they would fall into hell and be born as dogs and cows. 'Again, in the fearless' refers to Nirvana, because it is free from all fears. To see fear in this is to see it as annihilation. 'In fear' refers to samsara, because it is the nature of suffering. 'Seeing no fear' means that one strives for it constantly. 'Taking up wrong views' means clinging to and fully accepting what is inverted. 'Sentient beings' refers to ordinary people. Going to the lower realms means experiencing the lower realms or samsara. From taking up the right view, the wise will go to the good realms and Nirvana. Entering the right path is the good realm, and entering the wrong path is the bad realm. In order to clarify these two kinds of grasping that have just been pointed out, and to clearly show that only mindfulness should be grasped, it is said, 'Which of these comes first?' etc. Once upon a time, the wife of a Brahmin named Ribrakpa, who had three kinds of knowledge, became thirsty when she was pregnant, so she drank the water that had washed all the weapons. At the time of the child's birth, a rain of blood fell in his house, and very inauspicious signs appeared. To counteract these inauspicious signs,

Thus it was widely named. That abbot was controlled by a vicious wife, who argued and said: You have taught me all the knowledge, now I shall attain higher realms with my own body. So she gave him a sharp sword and a shield, saying: The forest called "Net-like" is a place of accomplishment, find a thousand people there, kill them, cut off one finger from each person, and string ten fingers together into a rosary to wear on your head, that will become your ladder to higher realms. From then on, he entered (the forest) in order not to be killed. The words "I" and so on express complete satisfaction with the perfection of form, and after renouncing, he attained the fruit of an Arhat. Up to here, he spoke the verses: Whoever does not harm, with body, speech, and mind, does not do harm, that is the one who does not harm others. And, how does the Blessed One commit evil and renounce? After he requested this, in order to make King Clear-victory understand, he spoke two verses. The term "who" refers to the general world of sentient beings. Due to the causes of carelessness such as encountering unwholesome friends, "previously" means the beginning. "From carelessness" means having acted carelessly. "Who here" refers to the Dharma and Vinaya taught by the Blessed One. Or, even if it is the truth, one does not believe it due to being controlled by delusion. Or, some people specialize in doing evil, therefore they were previously careless towards the Dharma. "Later" means at another time, becoming diligent through causes such as relying on noble individuals. Because of striving to do good, the path of seeing becomes manifest, thereby showing the abandonment of its subtle aspects. "In this world, completely clear" refers to this world including the gods. How is it clear? Like the sun and moon without clouds. "Like the sun and moon without clouds" means, for example, just as the moon free from clouds and the beautiful sun, one abandons carelessness by seeing. "He" refers to the yogi. "Completely clear" means
