The Treatise on the Accomplishment of Karma. Vasubandhu. The Treatise on the Accomplishment of Karma. Vasubandhu. In Sanskrit: Karmasiddhiprakarana (梵文天城体:कर्मसिद्धिप्रकरण,梵文罗马拟音:karmasiddhiprakaraṇa,Literal meaning: Treatise on the Accomplishment of Karma). In Tibetan: The Treatise on the Accomplishment of Karma. Homage to the noble Manjushri Kumara! In the sutra, it says: There are three types: the karma of body, the karma of speech, and the karma of mind. Some say that the karma done by the body is the karma of the body, and purity itself is the karma of speech, and each of the two is expressive and non-expressive. The karma that is associated with the mind is the karma of the mind, which is thought. Here, it should be examined: What is the dharma called "expressive"? For the time being, the expressive of the body is shape, which is born from the mind that focuses on it. What shape is it? It is of the body. If it is of the body, then how is it called the karma done by the body? It is called of the body because "body" is a part of the whole, and it is called the karma done by the body because it arises dependent on the great elements of the body. The words that exist in the whole also exist in the parts, just like saying "lives in the village" or "lives in the forest." Why is it necessary to say "born from the mind that focuses on it"? Because it is not permissible for the shape of the lips, etc., to change when speaking, because it is not born from the mind that focuses on it, but from the mind that focuses on the words. It is also not permissible for it to be born from the mind of previous aspirations, because it is not born from the mind that focuses on it, but from other minds that are the cause of maturation. Why is it called expressive? Because it makes the minds of others aware of it, and the changes in external actions show the thoughts that reside in the hearts of people. The fish hidden in the water, even if it is well hidden, is shown by the changes in the waves of the water. So, what is shape? It is like long, etc. What are long, etc.? It is the arising of the perception of whether it is long or short. It is the birthplace.

I am. The sense-source of form (referring to the eye faculty). So, is it considered to be atoms like color? Or, is it an aggregation of the parts of atoms? Or, is it the only other substance that pervades the aggregates such as color? If it is the parts of atoms, then each part of the aggregate will be perceived as long or short, etc., just like color. Or, if it is an aggregation of the parts of atoms, then what is the difference between it and the aggregation of the parts of color atoms? It is only the difference in those aggregations that causes long or short, etc. Or, if it is the only substance that pervades the aggregates such as color, then, because it itself is unique and pervasive, each part will be perceived, because everything has it. Or, it is not unique, because the parts exist in different ways. The ten sense-sources are the accumulation of atoms, which will also contradict this tenet. The treatise of the atomists says that it is a substance with limbs, which will also be refuted. When viewed from one direction, when many aggregates appear, the concept of long arises; when short, the concept of short arises; when viewed evenly from all sides, the concept of flat arises; when viewed evenly from the surroundings, the concept of round arises; when there are many in the middle, the concept of high arises; when there are few, the concept of low arises; when appearing from one direction, the concept of flat arises; when viewed from various directions, the concept of non-flat arises. When seeing an unfolded picture appear in such and such a shape, the concept of such and such a shape also arises, but the nature of different kinds of shapes should not exist in the same place, just like colors. However, if there is a change, then the concept of all shapes will arise in all directions, but this is not the case. Therefore, there is no other substance called shape, but only color exists in different places, and the concepts of long, etc. arise, such as the concepts that arise on objects such as trees, birds, and ants, etc., which is undisputed. If color gathers from a very far distance
