Homage to youthful Manjushri. The five aggregates are the aggregate of form, the aggregate of feeling, the aggregate of perception, the aggregate of formation, and the aggregate of consciousness. What is form? Whatever is form, all of that is the four great elements and what is derived from the four great elements. What are the four great elements? The earth element, the water element, the fire element, and the wind element. Among these, what is the earth element? Solidity itself. What is the water element? Moisture itself. What is the fire element? Warmth itself. What is the wind element? Lightness and movement itself. What is derived form? The eye faculty, the ear faculty, the nose faculty, the tongue faculty, the body faculty, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, one aspect of tangibles, and non-manifestation. Among these, what is the eye faculty? It is the object, color, it is form. What is the ear faculty? It is the object, sound, it is form. What is the nose faculty? It is the object, smell, it is form. Pleasant feeling and painful feeling, neither painful nor pleasant feeling, pleasant feeling is what one wants to encounter when it ceases. Pain is what one wants to be separated from when it arises. Neither pleasant nor painful feeling is what one does not crave for either when it arises. What is perception? It is taking the characteristic of an object. It has three aspects: small, great, and immeasurable. What are the formations? Mental factors other than feeling and perception, and non-associated compositional factors. Among them, what are the mental factors? They are the phenomena that are concordant with the mind. What are they? They are contact, attention, feeling, perception, thought, desire, conviction, mindfulness, concentration, wisdom, faith, shame, embarrassment, the root of non-attachment, the root of non-hatred, the root of non-ignorance, diligence, pliancy, conscientiousness, equanimity, non-harmfulness, desire, anger, pride, ignorance, view, doubt, anger, resentment, concealment, vexation, jealousy, stinginess, deceit, flattery, arrogance, harmfulness, shamelessness, lack of embarrassment, lethargy, excitement, lack of faith, laziness, carelessness, forgetfulness, distraction, non-alertness, regret, sleep, investigation, and analysis. Among these, five are ever-present, five are object-specific, eleven are virtuous, six are afflictions, the rest are secondary afflictions, and four are variable. What is contact? It is the complete severing from the convergence of the three. What is attention? It is the mind's engagement. What is thought? 不忘对治品的自性,即是心的显说。何为等持?即是心专注于所观察之事物。何为智慧?即是对这些事物进行彻底的辨别,由理性和非理性所生,以及其他的辨别。何为信心?即是对业和果、谛实语、三宝生起极大的信任、欲求和欢喜。何为知惭?即是依于自身或佛法,而对不应做之事感到羞愧。何为有愧?即是依于世间,而对不应做之事感到羞愧。何为无贪?即是贪欲的对治,心生厌离而不接受。何为无嗔?即是嗔恨的对治,即慈爱。何为无痴?即是愚痴的对治,如实地了知真实。何为精进?即是懈怠的对治,心对善法生起极大的欢喜。何为轻安?即是粗重之对治,身心堪能。何为审慎?即是放逸的对治,安住于无贪直至精进,舍弃不善之法,修习其对治善法。何为舍?即是安住于无贪直至精进,心平等性,获得心如实安住,以及心任运成就,消除一切烦恼之法,安住于无烦恼之状态。何为不害?即是损害的对治,即慈悲。何为贪欲?即是对近取五蕴生起执着和强烈的贪恋。何为忿怒?即是对众生普遍地施加恼害。何为我慢?即是七种我慢:我慢、大我慢、我慢过慢、慢慢、增上慢、卑慢和邪慢。何为我慢?即是自认为不如自己者胜过自己,或与自己相等者相等,心中生起骄傲。何为大我慢?即是自认为与自己相等者胜过自己,或胜过自己者与自己相等,心中生起骄傲。

The nature of not forgetting the antidote is the explicit expression of the mind. What is samadhi? It is the mind being one-pointed on the object of investigation. What is wisdom? It is the thorough discernment of these things, arising from reason and unreason, and other distinctions. What is faith? It is generating great trust, desire, and joy in karma and its results, truthful speech, and the Three Jewels. What is shame? It is, relying on oneself or the Dharma, feeling ashamed of what should not be done. What is embarrassment? It is, relying on the world, feeling ashamed of what should not be done. What is non-attachment? It is the antidote to attachment, generating aversion and not accepting. What is non-hatred? It is the antidote to hatred, which is love. What is non-ignorance? It is the antidote to ignorance, truly understanding reality. What is diligence? It is the antidote to laziness, the mind generating great joy in virtue. What is pliancy? It is the antidote to unwieldiness, the body and mind being serviceable. What is conscientiousness? It is the antidote to carelessness, abiding in non-attachment up to diligence, abandoning non-virtuous dharmas, and cultivating their antidote, virtuous dharmas. What is equanimity? It is abiding in non-attachment up to diligence, the mind being in a state of equality, obtaining the mind abiding in reality, and the mind spontaneously accomplishing, eliminating all afflicted dharmas, and abiding in a state without affliction. What is non-harming? It is the antidote to harming, which is compassion. What is desire? It is generating attachment and intense craving for the five aggregates of appropriation. What is anger? It is universally inflicting harm on sentient beings. What is pride? It is the seven types of pride: pride, great pride, excessive pride, pride of 'I am', manifest pride, slight pride, and wrong pride. What is pride? It is thinking with arrogance that one who is inferior is superior to oneself, or that one who is equal is equal to oneself. What is great pride? It is thinking with arrogance that one who is equal is superior to oneself, or that one who is superior is equal to oneself.
