Dwelling in the subsequent teaching of the correct instruction, one should be grasped by the means of the actions of body, speech, and mind. One should understand only up to the point of what is being taught in this order. A Bodhisattva who studies in this way will manifest complete and perfect enlightenment, the unsurpassed and genuine. In summary: Increasing faith and seeking the Dharma and teaching, likewise practice and truth, following the correct instruction, the actions of body, speech, and mind, being grasped by means is the last. What is said to be what is being taught, what is being studied? Bodhisattvas are studying. If one studies in this way, what kind of Bodhisattva is it that will manifest complete and perfect enlightenment, the unsurpassed and genuine? These should be known as ten in brief: abiding in lineage, entered, impure intention, pure intention, intention not fully matured, intention fully matured, uncertain realization, bound by one lifetime, and the last of desire. Furthermore, the names of all these Bodhisattvas, without distinction, should be known as those that correspond to their respective aspects, such as: Bodhisattva, Great Bodhisattva, possessor of wisdom, supreme of clarity, and so on. This body is that, and that is a part. By that part, one should also understand others. To explain it briefly: the first three verses show how it is as it is and how many there are. The explanation of how it is as it is is shown by indicating "what." What is as it is? The agent, the action, the doing, the reason for it, the meaning of the cause, the meaning of the part, and the meaning of the purpose, these seven distinctions, from what is called "understanding the meaning, showing the meaning, good differentiation" up to "its going to sentient beings," in order. The explanation of how many there are is knowing how many kinds there are by showing the number. How many kinds are there? There are five kinds, from "the meaning of attainment, the unsurpassed way, the nature of five" up to

It is up to the five examples shown like the collection. The example of the image shows this meaning itself as an adornment. Therefore, to put it briefly, because it possesses the meaning of all aspects, it is not inverted, and because all aspects are complete, it is also vast. Regarding this, it should be understood that the speech of cities and so on has eight branches, namely: the city dweller, pleasant and delightful, clear in form, able to discern, suitable to listen to, without dependence, without inconsistency, and without contradiction. Among these, the city dweller is because it is dominated by the city of Nirvana. Pleasant and delightful is because the sound is pleasant. Clear in form is because of the definite words and the beauty of the letters. Able to discern is because it is able to understand. Suitable to listen to is because it possesses the meaning of the Dharma. Without dependence is because it is the supreme support of extreme joy. Without inconsistency is because it expresses manifest desire. Without contradiction is because it is skilled in the vast. This speech with eight aspects, if summarized, should be understood to have three qualities: from the point of view of being able to control, it is through the first aspect; from the point of view of self-nature, it is through two aspects; from the point of view of combination, it is through the remaining aspects. The so-called "immaculate words" are words and letters related to reason, from "words and letters related to reason" to "the collection of diligent guarding limbs," that is, words and letters related to reason, connection, consistency, suitability, abundance, conformity, harmony, and the collection of diligent guarding limbs. Among these, reason is because the collection of names, words, and letters are well arranged in order. Moreover, reason is reason because it relies on four kinds of reason. Connection is accomplishment and abundance. Consistency is detailed explanation and abundance. Suitability is clear words and letters. Abundance is because it penetrates the heart. Conformity is like its retinue. Harmony is in accordance with the Dharma, meaningful, and with time.
