Etc., the complete dedication indicated by a single verse is briefly explained. What is called "Samantabhadra's Conduct" is the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra. His conduct is Samantabhadra's Conduct, which possesses various extensive qualities. Because it is the nature of the distinction of his aspiration, it is called aspiration. Similarly, the nature of the sound that expresses it is also called aspiration, like discipline. What is called "that which is expressed" is expressing it by making it into a book, etc. What is called "whatever slight merit I have accumulated" is whatever merit and virtue I have accumulated, which is synonymous with "universally accumulated and assembled." What is called "by this" should be connected with "by merit." What is called "beings" is to exhaust the collection of sentient beings. What is called aspiration is the distinction of aspiration, which refers to Samantabhadra's Conduct itself. What is called merit is white, which is synonymous with "without fault." What is called "may all be attained in an instant" is may the attainment of each sentient being be accomplished in each instant, and what is called "all" is without remainder. What is called "the merit of dedicating Samantabhadra's Conduct" etc., from this point onwards, indicates the complete dedication without distinction of the aspiration gathered by expression and cultivation, that is, the beginningless and endless, profound and vast nature of Samantabhadra's Conduct. Dedicating the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra's Conduct accumulated over countless eons. Completely and universally dedicating to the unsurpassed distinction of the omniscient wisdom. What is called "boundless, extremely surpassing attainment" is whatever boundless and immeasurable merit and virtue is attained, because it is the basis for benefiting and bringing happiness to sentient beings, and in order to accomplish immeasurable differences in means, and to accomplish it in immeasurable time, therefore merit is boundless. What is called "extremely surpassing" refers to being extremely surpassing, becoming the main one, that is, because it becomes the cause of omniscient wisdom, and completely with inconceivable wisdom

Because it has been grasped, it should be understood that merit is extremely superior. This shows the great meaning and power of this merit. "By that" refers to merit of this kind. "Those who are drowned in the river of suffering of beings," refers to beings who are born and reborn to go to samsara. "Drowned in the river of suffering" means that suffering has many forms such as birth, old age, sickness, death, meeting with the unpleasant, separation from the pleasant, etc., accompanied by these, or bound by these, or distinguishing from happiness, or long separation and parting. Therefore, that itself is a river, flowing continuously from a long time, and flowing irreversibly, and the nature of arising many non-virtuous deeds from that continuation, therefore falling into evil destinies, because it is like a river of water. Drowning in the river means definitely abiding in its nature and being accompanied by it, which is synonymous with "becoming its slave." "May [they] go to the realm of immeasurable light," means that the realm of Bhagavan Amitabha is the Buddha's pure land. If you want to know what it is like, it is said "supreme," meaning that it has immeasurable qualities of various inconceivable kinds, extremely adorned with hundreds of thousands of vastness, becoming a realm of supreme happiness and joy, like a realm of non-abiding nirvana, generating benefit for all beings. For "may [they] go," it is translated as going or entering, which is synonymous with saying that all beings wish to enter. Those who agree with the meaning of the name Samantabhadra, who reveal the practices of Samantabhadra, may the world be like Samantabhadra by that goodness of Samantabhadra. Shakya's friend, the wise one, for the sake of increasing the Shakya clan, has made a very good extensive commentary on the practice of Samantabhadra. The extensive commentary on the King of Noble Good Conduct Prayer, completed by the teacher Shakya's friend. The Indian Abbot Shakya Simha and the reviser translator Bande Pel Tsek revised and finalized [it].
