The very master is the master and supreme of all other masters. That itself is ultimate. Nirvana is supreme, namely the noble Hearers and Solitary Realizers. The supreme of those is the Great Vehicle's Bodhi. The master of the Bodhisattva, namely the one who accomplishes the benefit of all beings, the master of that one is the Buddha Bhagavan. The Dharmakaya, complete with all true qualities, is Bodhi, because it transcends knowing and speaking. All elaborations are completely pacified, it has become the sacred realm of the wisdom of individual self-awareness. From the Sutra Teaching the Spreading of Rays of Light: 'There is no going or coming for the formless, there are no directions or boundaries. It is without characteristics and separate from speech, it has truly transcended elaborations. If a Bodhisattva cultivates, he will attain the ultimate coolness.' And again: 'Through the power of the strength of virtue, afflictions are completely subdued and abide in peace. Excellent benefits are obtained. Qualities and wisdom are extremely vast like the ocean. Patience is cultivated. The mind becomes very happy and unwavering. The Bodhisattva always meditates. The wise ones highly praise it.' As the Buddhas Bhagavan of the past have dedicated, as the Buddhas Bhagavan of the future will dedicate, as the Buddhas Bhagavan who are presently abiding are now making dedication, so too I make dedication. All sins I confess individually. I rejoice in all merits. I urge and pray to all the Buddhas. May I attain the supreme and sacred supreme wisdom. The supreme among men, the victorious ones, whoever abides now, and whoever has passed away, and likewise whoever has not come, to all those whose qualities are praised immeasurably like the ocean, I join my palms in reverence and take refuge. This is not explained because it is easy to understand.
