For the sake of all realms increasing, up to the point of obtaining the two doors, because these are the generation of Bodhicitta. Therefore, it is also mentioned at the end: if the realms increase, one will obtain supreme bliss. Therefore, likewise, dying with a virtuous thought, one will be born wherever one desires. If birth is accomplished according to one's aspiration, one will remember past lives. By remembering past lives, the roots of virtue generated towards the Tathagata will manifestly become meaningful, and one will be able to go to all Buddha-fields. Even if a Buddha does not appear, one will meet a Buddha because one plants the aspiration to meet him. Then, one will obtain the Great Vehicle. Then, after that, having heard it directly, one will believe without doubt that this person possesses great wisdom. Because of strong and continuous faith, diligently seeking all the Dharma, one will gain intelligence. If intelligence is completely pure, one will accomplish the door. Then, relying on Samadhis such as the Akashagarbha, one will completely perfect the accumulations of generosity and so forth, and relying on Dharanis, one will be able to remember everything spoken by all the Tathagatas in each and every instant, and by holding them, one will have completely accumulated many accumulations of wisdom, becoming a great ocean of omniscient knowledge. The explanation of the second chapter, made by the great scholar Adornment, is complete. Explanation of the second chapter, Adornment.
