It is possible to open and smile slightly. The five near ones are uncertain. Where do these sufferings come from? Karma has heavy and light aspects, distinguished by object and intention. The rules of the Sravaka Vehicle and the Mahayana Vehicle can be understood as being of two types. The heavy ones are of two types: heavy due to the object and heavy due to the intention. The light ones are similar to those. Also, one should understand the heavy and light aspects separately according to the rules of the Sravaka Vehicle and the Mahayana Vehicle. Among these, the heavy ones for the Sravakas due to the object are, like this, the four of the five inexpiable sins except for killing one's father. Among these, the schism in the Sangha is heavier. Furthermore, yogis who have entered into the Samadhi of Loving-kindness, the Vajra-like Samadhi, yogis who have arisen from the Peak of Existence Samadhi, Khenpos, Acharyas, Bhikshus, Bhikshunis, fathers and mothers, Bodhisattvas with their last existence, the sick, Dharma speakers, Bodhisattvas abiding on the definite ground, Stream-enterers, Once-returners, Non-returners, Arhats, etc., killing them, beating them, binding them with iron chains, etc., stealing their property, stealing the property of stupas, the Sangha, the Dharma, the Buddha, lying to those former people and the Three Jewels, speaking harsh words, alienating them from each other, speaking non-verse words are heavy due to the object. The heavy ones due to intention are the arising of great wrong views and great faults in intention. The light ones due to the object are killing animals and flesh-eating ghosts in cemeteries, etc. The light ones due to intention are those other than those. Among these, the heavy ones for the Mahayana due to the object are, like this, treating the Lamas, Bodhisattvas who have generated the first mind, etc., fathers and mothers, yogis of Suchness, one's own deities, the Three Jewels, etc., in the same way as before. Considering this meaning, the Bhagavan said this in the Great Yoga Tantra called Vajra Peak: "Secret Lord, those misdeeds are heavy, and like ordinary people."

it becomes. Among them, killing parents and so on, and beating are heavy sins of the body. The other three, such as killing, are ordinary sins of the body. Abandoning the holy Dharma, speaking harshly to the gods, and speaking evil words to parents and gurus, etc., are heavy sins of speech. Some people cultivate virtue with faith, and when they begin to speak, saying the lie that "there is no afterlife" which transcends the world, is a heavy sin of speech. Speaking idle words that hinder virtuous deeds, slandering behind their backs, and speaking of non-virtuous deeds are ordinary sins of speech. There are three sins of mind: the sin arising from the mind itself, the sin arising from the mind, and the sin of ignorance. Among them, not being attached to the ten virtuous paths themselves is the sin of mind. Arrogance, pride, anger, destroying sentient beings, coveting other people's wives with a greedy mind, taking other people's lives, harboring deception and extreme hatred towards gurus are sins arising from the mind. Abandoning and forgetting the ten virtuous paths and the six perfections, being indecisive, and the mind being extremely ignorant is the practice of the sin of ignorance. Among them, from the perspective of intention, the Mahayana practitioner is controlled by compassion, and not abandoning all sentient beings but following and accepting them is very heavy. Just as Master Shantideva said: "The merits accumulated in thousands of kalpas, such as offering alms and offerings to the Buddhas, all virtuous deeds are destroyed by a single moment of anger." It is said. There are many sources for this alone being a heavy sin, but let's put it aside for now. Light deeds should also be understood from this principle. In these two vehicles, the heavy and light deeds have been explained. Due to greed, hatred, and ignorance, it transforms into three forms. Among them, killing arising from greed is like this, for the sake of the body's limbs, or for the sake of wealth.
