If the mind of practice grows, it is like the roots of a tree on a moist mountain peak. The growth of practice is inevitable. If the mind of practice is endowed with strength, even if the burden of action is heavy and long, bearing it will not be tiring or weary. From all the doors of accumulating merit, such as the ten practices of Dharma, strive to accumulate the two accumulations. What is most important during learning? All Dharmas arise from this basis, and one becomes powerful for the benefit of sentient beings, producing the fruits of form and wisdom. What is the essence of skillful means and wisdom? Meditate on the yoga of tranquility and insight. All worldly and transmundane Dharmas are said to be the fruits of these two. In order to have miraculous powers and generate the uncontaminated path, first cultivate tranquility. If the conditions for tranquility decline, it will not be accomplished even with prolonged effort. Train well in the conditions for samadhi, abandon all obstacles to samadhi, and what is the conducive object? Possessing the eight applications of abandonment. Strive for this purpose, like rubbing wood to make fire, free from the moisture of attachment, and constantly and continuously meditate. In order to conquer the battlefield of afflictions, rely on tranquility and cultivate insight. When insight is accomplished, at the time of rising from meditative equipoise, like the eight examples of illusion, become accustomed to seeing all Dharmas, and then practice mindfulness and learning skillful means as the main focus. At the time of entering meditative equipoise, tranquility and insight are equal, and constantly become accustomed to this. Through the power of training properly in this way, having obtained the four heats and so on, gradually generate the wisdom of the ten bhumis. By this, one quickly attains enlightenment. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it naturally accomplishes the benefit of others. If it is too brief, it will be difficult to understand. If it is too extensive, the text will become lengthy and complex. If those with intelligence analyze it well, I will teach to the extent that it can be understood. My lama possesses many qualities, like a great ocean. Disregarding worldly dharmas, for the benefit of others, he holds practice as the core. With worldly ignorance blinding people, he opens the eye of wisdom, possessing many powers. In order to benefit others with the meaning of the teachings and what the scriptures say needs to be learned, I have recorded it after contemplation. Faith and wisdom are wealth.
