Practice. Those who do not do so, it is said in the Vajrasekhara of the Yoga Tantra: Even if one strives diligently for hundreds of millions of kalpas, there are four kinds of people in the world who, even if they practice, will not achieve it. Not generating Bodhicitta, having doubts, not acting according to the teachings, and not having faith will not lead to achievement. Thus it is said. It is very difficult to obtain a human body, the life of beings is also very short, the decline of wisdom is also very small, and it is very difficult to find a virtuous friend. Children wander meaninglessly. Without contradicting the scriptures, I have written the "Condensed Lamp of Practice, Precious Garland," the act of entering the Great Vehicle. By the merit of writing this treatise, may all sentient beings without exception attain the state of the Sage. The "Condensed Lamp of the Bodhisattva's Conduct, Precious Garland," written by the great scholar Dharma Bhadra Rabjor Yang, is complete. The Indian Abbot Prajnakaravarma and the translator Bhikshu Rinchen Zangpo of Zhuchen translated, edited, and finalized it.
