So it is. However, if it is thought that it does not arise from anything, but exists naturally, then there is no contradiction in existing by itself. Why? Because there is no cause, like a flower in the sky. This is the meaning of what is said. Now, in terms of the means of meditating on the mindfulness of the Dharma, it is said, "All conditions," etc. It does not arise from individual conditions, because it does not arise from each of the seeds, etc. Nor does it arise from aggregation, because it arises from the aggregation of those things that do not arise. Then, does it arise from something other than those two? It does not come from elsewhere, because it has not arisen in that way. There is no abiding and no going. Thus it is said. Then, how do worldly people think it is true? That is because they are confused and speculate. It is said, "Illusion and..." etc. Now, in order to show that things are free from coming and going in the ultimate sense, it is said, "Transformation by illusion," etc. Now, because things do not arise whether they exist or not, and because they are the nature of non-things, it is said, "To become a thing," etc., in order to show that they will not become things that exist. Then, is it thought that both exist? It is said, "Nature," etc. Now, in order to show that the basis is not established, and that its characteristic is not established, it is said, "Thus," etc. Now, in order to conclude, it is said, "Therefore," etc. Dreams, etc., although they do not exist in the ultimate sense, do appear. It is said, "Without essence," because it is not established after investigation. Now, in order to show that the benefit of such investigation is that one will be free from attachment to the eight worldly dharmas, it is said, "Thus," etc. The meaning of the limbs is easy to understand. Now, in order to show emptiness as an antidote to those who, due to attachment to things, perversely abide in suffering as happiness, it is shown that one should strive for the means of one's own liberation, that is, it is said, "Those who desire their own happiness," etc. The meaning of the limbs is easy to understand. The meaning of the name of the treatise is as before. This is called the chapter on the teaching of wisdom.

The explanation of the eighth chapter is complete. Now, in order to make the karmic results complete, to dedicate the roots of virtue, and to pay homage to one's own virtuous spiritual friend with gratitude, the ninth chapter is taught. From "I, in the conduct of enlightenment" to "May I make offerings like the Buddha," this shows the dedication of the roots of virtue in order to make the karmic results complete. The two words "May the teachings flourish" show the dedication in order to make the teachings last long. With the single verse "By whose kindness good thoughts arise," it shows paying homage to one's own virtuous spiritual friend in a way of gratitude. The meaning of the title of the treatise is as explained in the first chapter. The chapter of dedication, that is, the explanation of the ninth chapter is complete. The meaning of these branches is very easy to understand, so they are not explained separately. The explanation of Entering the Bodhisattva's Conduct is complete.
