Even I am attached by downfalls, therefore, permission and prohibition are uncertain. The occurrence of downfalls is also uncertain, because some inferior ones regret and feel remorse due to attachment to things, so they confess their faults in front of others, and later, by means of discipline, they can recover long after the fault. Some intermediate ones, through rituals, pray to the deities of wisdom mantras, bodhisattvas like Akashagarbha, etc., without fault, and recover from downfalls by obtaining the permission of the deities. Some superior ones abide in the unconditioned, knowing that the very act of declaring downfalls is the mind of enlightenment. As it is said in the Mahayana Sutra: "Manjushri, if a bodhisattva has no karma and no vipaka, then he obtains the purification of karmic obscurations," and so on. This is the second body. The third body is that since all the Dharma of the Buddhas and all the goodness of the world come from the guru and the desired deity, these two are the ones who have bestowed grace and permission upon me. Thinking, "May sentient beings never be separated from gratitude," and prostrating to these two objects with gratitude, accompanied by words of gratitude. I have not separated the collection of texts, because it is easy to understand, and the teachers have clearly explained it in commentaries and ṭīkās, etc. The difficult-to-understand points of entering the discipline of the sons of the Sugata, I have thoroughly clarified by following the footsteps of the guru. May beings, with faith, mount the two bodhicittas, thoroughly enter, and may all suffering reach its end, becoming the very realm of Manjushri! The treatise on determining the difficult-to-understand points of Entering the Bodhisattva's Conduct, composed by the great scholar Master Krishna Pa, is complete. The Indian Abbot Krishna Pa himself and the translator Bhikshu Dharma Jñana translated, proofread, and finalized it.
