印度语:Panca-skandha-prakarana(梵文天城体:पञ्चस्कन्धप्रकरण,梵文罗马拟音:pañcaskandha-prakaraṇa,五蕴分别)。

A Treatise on the Five Aggregates. By Chandrakirti. A Treatise on the Five Aggregates. By Chandrakirti. In Sanskrit: Panca-skandha-prakarana (梵文天城体:पञ्चस्कन्धप्रकरण,梵文罗马拟音:pañcaskandha-prakaraṇa,Analysis of the Five Aggregates). In Tibetan: A Treatise on the Five Aggregates. Homage to the Buddha! Homage to the noble youthful Manjushri! In order to open the doors of the minds of those who have not cultivated intelligence, I will briefly and accurately explain the characteristics of the aggregates, sense bases, and elements. Among these, the five aggregates are: the aggregate of form, the aggregate of feeling, the aggregate of perception, the aggregate of formation, and the aggregate of consciousness. The twelve sense bases are: namely, the sense base of the eye, the sense base of the ear, the sense base of the nose, the sense base of the tongue, the sense base of the body, the sense base of the mind, the sense base of forms, the sense base of sounds, the sense base of odors, the sense base of tastes, the sense base of tactile objects, and the sense base of phenomena. The eighteen elements are: namely, the element of the eye, the element of forms, the element of eye consciousness, the element of the ear, the element of sounds, the element of ear consciousness, the element of the nose, the element of odors, the element of nose consciousness, the element of the tongue, the element of tastes, the element of tongue consciousness, the element of the body, the element of tactile objects, the element of body consciousness, the element of mind, the element of phenomena, and the element of mind consciousness. Regarding the explanation of the aggregate of form: namely, the five faculties of eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body, and the five objects of form, sound, odor, taste, and tactile objects, plus non-revealing form; the nature of these eleven substances is the aggregate of form. It is also divided into two types: that which is produced and that which produces. Among these, that which produces are the four great elements, namely, the earth element, the water element, the fire element, and the wind element. Because it holds all the forms that are held, or because it holds its own nature, it is an element. These are all included within the sense base of tactile objects. The remainder of the sense base of tactile objects is smoothness and so forth. For the eye

The ten aggregates are transformed from the four great elements: earth, water, fire, and wind, because they arise from the four great elements. Just as paintings rely on walls, houses rely on grass and trees, reflections rely on mirrors, and fire relies on firewood, similarly, eyes and everything else manifest relying on the four great elements, hence they are called 'derived form.' The nature of earth is solidity, roughness, and stability, and its function is to support. The nature of water is moisture, smoothness, and dissolution, and its function is to bind together. The nature of fire is warmth, and its function is to ripen and dry. The nature of wind is lightness and movement, and its function is to generate and increase. Among these, generation refers to being closely related to one's own realm and arising on top of it. Increase refers to arising continuously in other realms, thereby obtaining other realms. This function of increase is also called expansion. These great elements, wherever one exists, the others also exist; wherever the others exist, one also exists, they are inseparable from each other. Therefore, they are interdependent and have no self-nature that exists independently. Among these forms, some are directly perceived by one's own sensory consciousness because they are truly existent. Some are inferred by observing the results. These are both elements and great elements because they are elements. When the vast space pervades, these themselves are great. Common and uncommon, these arise from the differences in karma. Therefore, although space is the space where all forms arise, and is great, it is not an element because it is unconditioned. Therefore, space is not a great element. The great elements have been explained. Furthermore, just as these great elements are included by touch and are distinctly perceived by worldly senses and sense organs, so they are manifest. But the eyes and other sense organs are not, because they transcend the scope of the senses and can only be inferred from their own results—consciousness, therefore they can only be known through inference. For example, relying on mother and father...
