In Indian language: Prajñāpāramitāhṛdayārthaparijñāna (梵文天城体:प्रज्ञापारमिताहृदयर्थपरिज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:Prajñāpāramitāhṛdayārthaparijñāna,Complete understanding of the meaning of the heart of the perfection of wisdom). In Tibetan: Śes rab kyi pha rol tu phyin pa'i snying po'i don yongs su śes pa (Complete understanding of the meaning of the heart of the perfection of wisdom). Homage to the noble Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta! Not relying on others' explanations, one should distinguish the path with reason. Thinking ahead and striving, one does not follow the scribe's handwriting. The past history is heard as follows: The order in which the sacred Dharma enters is: First, after turning the wheel of the four truths in Vārāṇasī, in order to reverse the clinging to the Dharma, the Sugata turned the wheel of Dharma of the mother of the victors, which is without characteristics. The order in which the compilers compiled it is: After the Bhagavan passed into Nirvana, in the realm of Paranirmitavaśavartin, the directional elephants and others are Vajrapāṇi, and the hosts of liberation and others are, following the chapter of complete entrustment, the noble Ānanda and, Ratnakaraśānti and others are, the Bhagavan blessed the noble Ānanda as the compiler, thus the compilers who are in harmony with each other, for the purpose of protecting the true Dharma, entrusted the hundred thousand verses to Nāga and, Nandi, the twenty-five thousand verses to Indra, the eight thousand verses to the noble Maitreya, and the holder of the treasury and, the compiler and, Vaiśravaṇa entrusted the eight thousand verses. Then the commentators, the order of commenting is: In the city where Simha resides, the monk named Asaṅga, who understands the meaning of that treatise, distinguishes the definitive and provisional meanings of the sutras in various ways, in order to manifest the nature of wisdom for the beings of the world, he specifically reveals it, possessing the nature of writing treatises, his accomplished messenger, is said to be a earth goddess, by the power of his mantra, that certainty arose in his mind, in order to make the Dharma abide for a long time, he compiled the meaning of that sutra. He lived for one hundred and fifty years, and his body became a heavenly realm.

Go forth! Experience lasting happiness. After wandering long in samsara, gradually, that great being will attain perfect enlightenment. This is the prediction of the perfectly complete Buddha. The lineage of the Dharma is that the noble Asanga, having attained samadhi, went to Tushita heaven and supplicated the noble Maitreya. The noble Maitreya, with his uncommon sutras and vinaya, and the commentary on the Abhidharma, the Ornament of Clear Realization, realized it, thereby taking care of the beings of Jambudvipa. Later, the noble Nagarjuna went to the land of the nagas and brought back the Hundred Thousand Verses, and with his own view, with the wisdom of the Middle Way, he made its commentary. Even so, among the extensive, intermediate, concise, and extremely concise Prajnaparamita sutras, this Heart Sutra is spoken for the sake of the retinue of inferior intellect. It has three parts: the introduction, the main body, and the conclusion. The introduction has two parts: the common and the uncommon. The common introduction has five parts: the compiler, the elimination of superimposition, the instigation, the time and the teacher, and the perfection of the place and retinue. Among these, first, the elimination of superimposition is the statement, "Thus have I heard." Because it is not possible to manifest without complete compilation, therefore, in order to eliminate the inverted superimposition on the words to be compiled, saying "Thus" is to eliminate it with the meaning of manifesting recollection. Furthermore, if there is no mindfulness, then hearing is like not hearing, and even if one knows as it is, if there is no practice with mindfulness at the time of compilation, it will not become non-inverted. In order to eliminate these two superimpositions, saying "I" is to eliminate it with the meaning of mindfulness that separately considers body and mind. "Heard" means that it is not the nature of what one has completely examined oneself. Furthermore, "Thus have I heard" does not mean hearing through transmission. In this way, the instigation is shown with four meanings. Even so, the perfection of speech here is the rejoicing after the Tathagatas. Join "Thus have I heard."
