Relying on this, the Prajnaparamita does not consider all phenomena such as form to be large, nor does it consider them to be small; it does not consider them to be gathered, nor does it consider them to be wide; it does not consider them to be limited, nor does it consider them to be limitless; it does not consider them to be vast, nor does it consider them to be narrow; it does not consider them to be powerful, nor does it consider them to be powerless. Thinking thus in the mind, clinging to things and characteristics, if such a concept is formed, it is acting with an object and with characteristics, therefore one cannot comprehend the practice of Prajnaparamita. This is what is to be explained. Why is that? If one considers form to be large, or considers it to be small, that is not a fruit that is in accordance with the Prajnaparamita. From "If one considers Bodhi and the Buddha and the Buddha's Dharma to be powerful, or considers them to be powerless, that is not a fruit that is in accordance with the Prajnaparamita," it is explained that looking at things in this way and clinging to characteristics, one cannot comprehend the practice of Prajnaparamita. Because in the ultimate truth, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, abiding in a completely pure nature, the Prajnaparamita does not consider them to be large, small, gathered, wide, limited, limitless, vast, narrow, powerful, powerless, and cannot be changed, therefore acting in this way with large and small etc., is not the power and fruit of the Prajnaparamita. If the Prajnaparamita abides in the nature of non-discrimination, but acts with large and small etc., and forms discriminating concepts, then that is not the practice of Prajnaparamita. Combine this with the above content. World Honored One, when one practices the Prajnaparamita in this way, from "considering form to be large, or considering it to be small" to "considering Bodhi, the Buddha and the Buddha's Dharma to be powerful, or considering them to be powerless," that will become his great object. Because in this way all phenomena are empty of inherent existence in the ultimate truth, and the Prajnaparamita is also the nature of non-discrimination.

Therefore, regarding all phenomena, one should not observe them as being large or small, assembled or vast, limited or limitless, broad or narrow, powerful or powerless. If one clings to characteristics, one becomes conceptual, and thus the bodhisattva commits a great fault. This is what is being explained. Why is that? Because one with conceptual notions does not have what is called "bodhi." This explains the reason why clinging to concepts and characteristics is a great fault. If one becomes conceptual in this way, one will not attain unsurpassable bodhi. That is the meaning. That is, because sentient beings do not arise, one should observe that the Perfection of Wisdom does not arise. From there, up to the point where the power of unsurpassable, perfectly complete enlightenment is not fully accomplished, one should observe that the power of the Perfection of Wisdom is not fully accomplished. This explains that the Perfection of Wisdom is, in ultimate reality, of the nature of non-entity. One should not cling to entities and characteristics, nor should one become conceptual. That is, because sentient beings do not arise, one should observe that the Perfection of Wisdom does not arise. This explains that because sentient beings, as conceived by non-Buddhists, are without substance, they do not arise. Therefore, one should understand that the Perfection of Wisdom also does not arise in ultimate reality. This explains the observation that the Perfection of Wisdom does not arise through realizing the selflessness of the individual. Because form does not arise, one should observe that the Perfection of Wisdom does not arise, and so forth. This explains that the phenomena, from form and so on up to unsurpassable, perfectly complete enlightenment, do not arise, and thus explains the observation that the Perfection of Wisdom does not arise through realizing the selflessness of phenomena. Just as the explanation of "unborn" has been given, so too are the explanations of "without inherent existence," "without entity," "emptiness," "seclusion," "non-existence," and "inconceivable."

It should also be combined with interpretations of non-pervasiveness, interpretations of fearlessness, interpretations of non-manifest enlightenment, and interpretations of incomplete power. These ten words, such as unborn and without inherent existence, should also be understood as synonyms for non-entity. Blessed One, with that synonym, it is also like this: this Prajnaparamita is the great Paramita of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Thus, this Prajnaparamita is the nature of unborn and without inherent existence, etc., and without discrimination, therefore, it does not make any Dharma large or small, good or bad, etc., and does not grasp at characteristics, therefore it is the great Paramita. Thus, the meaning of the great qualities of the Prajnaparamita is summarized and explained. The twenty-sixth chapter of the extensive commentary on the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita is complete. Twenty-sixth, Chapter on Accomplishment.
