由于了悟一切平等性,对于散乱和一心一意这二者不执著,也不执取各自的相状,这叫做等性三摩地。其中,什么是叫做具有无尘垢、远离尘垢之相的三摩地呢?安住于该三摩地,并且了悟三摩地和一切法,有尘垢和离尘垢是平等性,也就是说,如果平等安住于该三摩地,由于了悟一切法为空性,因此对于三摩地也不视为实有,对于一切法也不执取相状,而是将过失和无过失二者视为平等性,这叫做具有无尘垢且远离尘垢之相。其中,什么是叫做无有烦恼而如实趣入的三摩地呢?安住于该三摩地,并且一切三摩地都变为无有烦恼,也就是说,如果平等安住于该三摩地,一切三摩地的相违品,心散乱和一切分别念都变为无有,这叫做无有烦恼而如实趣入,所谓烦恼,在这里是指三摩地等的相违品,心散乱和分别念。其中,什么是叫做一切具有烦恼而无有烦恼如实趣入的三摩地呢?安住于该三摩地,并且一切具有烦恼都变为获得无有烦恼如实趣入,也就是说,如果平等安住于该三摩地,能够使一切具有烦恼之法完全清净且变为无有烦恼,这叫做一切具有烦恼而无有烦恼如实趣入。其中,什么是叫做勤奋于无有处所执著的三摩地呢?安住于该三摩地,并且不执著一切三摩地的根本,也就是说,如果平等安住于该三摩地,对于一切三摩地的基础,阿赖耶识,转依之智慧,舍弃能取和所取且完全清净也不执著,这叫做勤奋于无有处所执著。其中,什么是叫做安住于真如

Because of realizing the equality of everything, not clinging to either distraction or single-mindedness, and not grasping at their respective characteristics, this is called the Samadhi of Equality. Among them, what is the Samadhi called having the aspect of being without dust and free from dust? Abiding in that Samadhi, and realizing that Samadhi and all dharmas, having dust and being free from dust, are equality, that is to say, if one abides equally in that Samadhi, because of realizing that all dharmas are emptiness, therefore one does not regard Samadhi as real, and does not grasp at the characteristics of all dharmas, but regards both faults and faultlessness as equality, this is called having the aspect of being without dust and free from dust. Among them, what is the Samadhi called without affliction and truly entering? Abiding in that Samadhi, and all Samadhis become without affliction, that is to say, if one abides equally in that Samadhi, all the opposing factors of all Samadhis, such as mental distraction and all discriminations, become non-existent, this is called without affliction and truly entering, so-called affliction, here refers to the opposing factors of Samadhis, such as mental distraction and discriminations. Among them, what is the Samadhi called all having affliction and without affliction truly entering? Abiding in that Samadhi, and all having affliction become obtaining without affliction truly entering, that is to say, if one abides equally in that Samadhi, one is able to make all dharmas having affliction completely purified and become without affliction, this is called all having affliction and without affliction truly entering. Among them, what is the Samadhi called diligent in not clinging to a place? Abiding in that Samadhi, and not clinging to the root of all Samadhis, that is to say, if one abides equally in that Samadhi, one does not cling to the basis of all Samadhis, the Alaya consciousness, the wisdom of transformation, abandoning the grasper and the grasped and being completely purified, this is called diligent in not clinging to a place. Among them, what is called abiding in Suchness?

何为名为“无心”之等持?安住于该等持, 所有等持之如实性中不退转,即安住于该等持,所有等持之义,于法界清净之如实性自性中,以无分别之自性一心不退转,是为安住于如实性且名为“无心”。何为名为“彻底消除身体之过患”之等持?安住于该等持,所有等持之身体不可得,即安住于该等持之威力,为利益有情而显现各种身相之化身,不执著于相,且不分别,是为彻底消除身体之过患。所谓身体之过患,于此处指显现各种化身时,执著于相且认为实有。何为名为“语之过患灭尽如虚空”之等持?安住于该等持,所有等持之语业不可得,即安住于该等持之威力,为利益有情而以各种音声说法,不执著于相,且不认为是实有,是为语之过患灭尽如虚空。何为名为“如虚空般无执著而解脱且无染污”之等持?安住于该等持,一切法如虚空般无执著而获得解脱且无染污,即安住于该等持时,了知一切法如幻,不执著于彼,故从烦恼障和所知障中解脱,且如虚空般任何事物皆不能染污,是为如虚空般无执著而 解脱且无染污。 善现,此乃菩萨摩诃萨行于般若波罗蜜多之大乘,即总结宣说等持之大乘,即上述之等持。

What is the samadhi called "without mind"? Abiding in that samadhi, Not turning back from the suchness of all samadhis, that is, abiding in that samadhi, the meaning of all samadhis, in the nature of suchness, which is the pure realm of dharma, with a non-discriminating nature, one-pointedly without degenerating, is called abiding in suchness and "without mind." What is the samadhi called "completely eliminating the faults of the body"? Abiding in that samadhi, the body of all samadhis is unobtainable, that is, by the power of abiding in that samadhi, for the benefit of sentient beings, various forms of bodies are manifested, without clinging to signs, and without discrimination, it is called completely eliminating the faults of the body. The so-called faults of the body, in this context, refer to clinging to signs and thinking of them as real when manifesting various forms of bodies. What is the samadhi called "the faults of speech are destroyed and become like the sky"? Abiding in that samadhi, the speech activity of all samadhis is unobtainable, that is, by the power of abiding in that samadhi, for the benefit of sentient beings, teaching the Dharma with various sounds, without clinging to signs, and without thinking of them as real, it is called the faults of speech are destroyed and become like the sky. What is the samadhi called "like the sky, without attachment, liberated, and without defilement"? Abiding in that samadhi, all dharmas, like the sky, without attachment, attain liberation and without defilement, that is, abiding in that samadhi, realizing all dharmas as like illusions, without attachment to them, therefore liberated from the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations, and like the sky, nothing can defile it, it is called like the sky, without attachment, liberated, and without defilement. Subhuti, this is the great vehicle by which Bodhisattva Mahasattvas practice the Perfection of Wisdom, that is, summarizing and explaining the great vehicle of samadhi, that is, the above-mentioned samadhi.

若于彼等入定,则成获得无上正等觉大菩提之道或因,故称彼等三摩地为大乘。广释十万颂般若波罗蜜多经第九品竟。 第九品,三摩地品。

If one enters into samadhi on these, then it becomes the path or cause for attaining the unsurpassed, perfectly complete, great enlightenment. Therefore, these samadhis are called the Great Vehicle.
