Sixth, Gradual Abhisamaya. Sixth, Gradual Abhisamaya. The treatise states, "Three kinds, ten types, gradual practice." What is stated is the gradual abhisamaya. Starting from the thirty-one distinctions after the peak abhisamaya, in order to prevent them from arising all at once, among the aspects that are shown, there are three that correspond to the part of liberation, twelve distinctions that correspond to the part of definite determination as before, sixteen distinctions in the path of seeing, and nine distinctions in the path of meditation, thus there are forty distinctions. For each of these distinctions, one should also know that there are thirteen distinctions such as generosity. It is also explained by the noble Vimoksha group: "Lord, how can a Bodhisattva thoroughly understand gradual action, gradual learning, and gradual accomplishment?" The explanation of "action" implies understanding the generation of bodhicitta. The mention of "learning" implies correspondence with the part of definite determination. The mention of "accomplishment" implies the paths of seeing and meditation. The mention of these three explains the gradual abhisamaya. The detailed explanation of this is: "Generosity, wisdom, pure in between, Buddha, etc., mindfulness and Dharma, the essence of non-reality itself, are regarded as gradual activities, activities, learning, and practice, this is the meaning." What is said here is, "Furthermore," and so on. Thus, the Prajnaparamita that will be explained should be understood as a gradual activity. All dharmas are the six paramitas. Dharma is like this path, and Bodhi is itself. Non-attachment is non-obstruction. Bodhisattvas, for the gradual practice, the initial generation of bodhicitta, etc., like this, Bodhisattvas, starting from the initial generation of bodhicitta, practice the Paramita of Generosity, and also guide others to correctly accept it. Through generosity, they obtain a great accumulation of enjoyment, and thus practice generosity, purify the Buddha-field, place sentient beings in the three vehicles, and completely liberate them from samsara. All of these are actions without any object of focus.

The reason for saying "because of the absence of inherent existence" is that the act of generosity is brought to completion by the perfection of generosity. Likewise, the other six perfections, such as morality, should also be brought to completion in their entirety. "All dharmas are indivisible" refers to the six recollections, namely, because all dharmas are apprehended by the mind. These are indivisible because they themselves are the nature of non-substantiality. Thus, from the time a Bodhisattva first generates the mind, through the mental activities endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, one cultivates the recollection of dharma, particularly believing that all dharmas are of the nature of non-substantiality, and one establishes this well. Also, because of the nature of non-substantiality, even after all dharmas are manifestly enlightened, teaching the dharma does not liberate sentient beings. In this context, the Blessed One, the Buddha, contemplates the dependent arising of the aggregates such as form, but in ultimate truth, because it is the nature of non-substantiality, there is no recollection or contemplation of these, and this is the recollection of the Buddha. When one practices the perfection of wisdom, one does not contemplate virtuous dharmas, nor conditioned or unconditioned dharmas, because these are the nature of non-substantiality, and therefore one does not contemplate them in this way, and this is the recollection of dharma. Here, the Sangha of the irreversible Bodhisattvas of the Blessed One, and the Sangha of the Hearers, the eight great individuals, one does not contemplate that their nature does not exist, and this is the recollection of the Sangha. Then, when one practices the perfection of wisdom, one abides in morality that is undiminished, without fault, unmixed, unadulterated, not disturbed by others, not confused, praised by the wise, and extremely pure samadhi, one contemplates that morality and the nature of non-substantiality, and not contemplating in this way is the recollection of morality. Among these, undiminished means not decreasing, that is, not transgressing many trainings. Without fault means regarding the precepts that have been taken,
