The Lamp that Summarizes the Meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā. Marme Dze Yeshe. The Lamp that Summarizes the Meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā. Marme Dze Yeshe. In Sanskrit: Prajñāpāramitāpiṇḍārthapradīpa. In Tibetan: The Lamp that Summarizes the Meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā. Homage to the Bhagavati Mother Prajñāpāramitā. Mother of the Buddhas of the three times, to the Prajñāpāramitā, after paying homage, I will explain the summarized meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā. There are four types of Abhisamaya, namely, the three knowledges and the Dharmakāya, because of direct realization, it is Abhisamaya, the four applications are the means of Abhisamaya. The noble Asanga thinks so. The doctrine of the Vimuktisena school considers that there are four types of Abhisamaya, namely, only the four applications, the three knowledges and the Dharmakāya, are considered as the mother and the fruit. The two, Serlingpa and Śānti, consider that there are also seven types of Abhisamaya nature, namely, they regard it as the nature of Prajñāpāramitā, and the fruit is the Dharmakāya. Siṃhabhadra and Buddhaśrījñāna consider all eight as Abhisamaya. Abhisamaya is the order of knowing the continuum, the eight objects are the objects to be expressed, and Śānti says that the occasion is the expression. Some, with occasion and distance, say that they are the conditions for the eight individuals. Some say that it shows the three paths of omniscience, Bodhicitta, and Śrāvakas. The doctrine of Siṃhabhadra considers that in the path of omniscience, both must be complete. If not, it is said to be complete. The view of the Lama Serlingpa, some who enter the mother, in the impure and pure times, consider it to be the path of the eight individuals. When making the impure pure, it is considered the path of the three individuals. When making the pure the path, it is said to be the path of one individual. From these, the summarized meaning is explained, namely, the determination of number, order, elimination of repetition, and explanation of each self-nature. The explanation of the determination of number, hearing and thinking are the mother, the three omniscient ones. At the time of meditation, there are four applications, the ultimate fruit is the Dharmakāya. At the time of hearing and thinking, the fruit and the cause, and the unfavorable aspects, are determined to be complete. At the time of meditation, there are applications and temporary fruits.

The cause of stability and, perfected by the ultimate cause, thus the number is fixed. The order of arising is the sequence, first by listening and thinking, its object has been previously explained. It also first knows the result, then the cause and what is to be abandoned, are determined in sequence. The sequence of the four applications is also, all perfect manifest complete accumulation path, because it exists, it is first explained. Then the three arise in sequence. Thus, that is the order. It is shown incidentally to avoid repetition. Let's explain each of their own nature. The ten meanings of omniscience are also, Simhavadra (Lion Good) summarized into two, namely cause and effect. There are three aspects to the cause, first with pure bodhicitta, one should learn the instructions. Then there are four practices, the basis of practice and the object, the purpose of practice and the actual practice. These are the four armors, entering the accumulation and renunciation. The boundary is shown as four by connection. Showing the desired result is, explained by defining them. The summarized meaning of omniscience is, classification, nature and characteristics, boundaries, repetition and function, truly desired as six aspects. Classification is the ground of cause and, the knowledge of the ground of effect. How many and how are the results, all are knowing. The nature is wisdom and compassion, the characteristic is knowing everything. The boundary is the state from the accumulation path, the ground of the result is the Buddha ground. It does not repeat with the Dharmakaya, this is a general explanation, the Dharmakaya is self-born. The action is turning the wheel of Dharma. Knowing the path is also the same six. If classified, the path of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, and the path of the Hearer are considered as three. Or the path of the three vehicles is considered. All path knowledge is all, knowledge is considered as two. The nature is wisdom and compassion, the characteristic is knowing the three paths unborn. The boundary is the state from generating bodhicitta, to the completion of the six grounds. The ultimate is the Buddha ground. Here, the explanation of the seeing path is, explained from the aspect of arising in the continuum. The explanation of the seeing path as the basis is, explained from the aspect of reversal. Or what is explained here is, explained from the aspect of knowing the path. Below, it will be explained from the aspect of knowing the basis. Therefore, it is free from the fault of repetition.
