Trees are extremely pure, And, because of being separated from definite arising and indefinite arising, all diseases of defilement do not arise, which is said to be the aspect of the third truth. Because of being separated from the path and non-path, the evil destinies are cut off; because reason and non-reason are not mixed, there is no discrimination for the method of making the fruit manifest; because of being liberated from cultivation and non-cultivation, it is not related to the characteristics of all dharmas; because there is no definite arising and indefinite arising, the nature of what can be said is knowable; and there is no arising of knowledge for the two truths, which is said to be the aspect of the fourth truth. These are the sixteen moments of the path of seeing of omniscience, which are established in terms of the bodhisattvas. This also shows indirectly that the shravakas and others are aspects of rejecting one aspect from these. The path of the shravakas and others is to be known by the bodhisattvas, but not to be realized, so the path of meditation is not shown separately here. Thus, after separately determining the characteristics of the three omniscient ones, it is said to conclude the end of the three chapters: Thus this and also this, and also this are the three. This completely shows the three stages. That is to say, therefore, rejecting the nature of what should be realized, this is the base omniscience; having the characteristic of not approaching all dharmas, this is the path omniscience; because there is no fabrication, the nature of fulfilling all meanings is the all-knowing wisdom. Thus, by explaining the three things, the three chapters of the three sections of the treatise are completely shown. The Treatise on the Instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom The Explanation of the Ornament of Clear Realization, called the Garland of the Lamp of Wisdom, is the explanation of the third chapter. Third Chapter: Explanation of the Base Omniscience.
