Second Chapter: Explanation of the Path of Omniscience. Second Chapter: Explanation of the Path of Omniscience. Realizing all aspects of omniscience depends on knowing the path, so when explaining it, first, the basis for knowing the path and what goes with it are explained. "For the sake of making the gods happy, with light making it glow, and the determination and pervasiveness of the place, and the nature and its actions." This is said. The sutra says that the light of the Tathagata's nature makes the light of the ripening of the gods and so on glow. This is to establish that it is possible for them to generate knowledge of the path. Therefore, it only arises in the lineage of those who have subdued pride, so it should be known that the basis is particularly excellent. Similarly, those who generate the mind of omniscience have certainty in each place, and because all sentient beings have the essence of the Tathagata, they are free from attachment, and other yogis and so on should also ultimately practice, so the lineage is pervasive to all, and having entered into benefiting sentient beings as long as samsara exists, its nature is not abandoning all the disturbing emotions that are the cause of it, and being skilled in wisdom and means, it does not manifest the true extreme, and it performs actions such as gathering sentient beings who have not been gathered. What are those paths of such path knowledge? How should they be known? Briefly, the path knowledge of the Hearers is explained. "The way of knowing the path is through the four noble truths, through the door of not focusing on characteristics, this Hearer's path should be known." This is said. Among them, the truth of suffering is the characteristic of being subject to birth and destruction, impermanence, and being incompatible with the noble ones due to the very nature of contaminated things, hence suffering, and being empty of other than the meaning of the agent, hence selflessness, and not being established as the characteristic that has become the essence, hence the four aspects of peace. The truth of the origin is like a disease because it is the root cause of the arising of unpleasant feelings, and like a fruit because it produces the result of suffering, accumulation, and feelin

Because of the cause of the arising of unbearable suffering, it arises intensely like a sting, and because many fears occur in succession and completely destroy, like the nature of the cause of sin, these are the four aspects. For both suffering and arising, because an external opponent intervenes and causes harm, like an external enemy; because of harm, there is fear and it is not trustworthy, it is of a destructive nature, these are the two characteristics of renunciation; because one's own nature cannot remain stable, it is wavering; because it is destroyed naturally without cause, it is completely destroyed, these are the two characteristics of abandoning desire; because this life and the next become places of harm, it is fear; because harmful beings such as meat-eaters are places where harm is proclaimed, it is the spread of disease; because it is a place to be tormented by various internal and external causes, it is the aspect of harm. These are the three aspects of entering what is to be eliminated. Therefore, know that by distinguishing the three natures in detail, there are seven aspects. The truth of cessation is that because ignorance and so on cease, so do formations and so on, therefore the nature of cessation is selflessness; because the great heap of suffering is completely extinguished, it is peace; because suffering and arising are impure, it is separation, therefore it is excellence; this is the characteristic of renunciation, that is, having abandoned self and what belongs to self in this way, it is emptiness; there is no sign of being compounded by cause and condition; because there is no strong joy and desire for the three realms; and because future aggregates will not manifest, therefore this is also the seven aspects of distinguishing one nature in detail. The truth of the path is the path that leads to the city of Nirvana; because it is the antidote to unreasonable afflictions, it is reason; because it can generate limitless qualities that are not inverted, it is accomplishment; because it can reach a constant, beneficial, and excellent place, these are the four aspects of liberation. Therefore, these aspects of the truths, through the way of not clinging to nature, in the stage of understanding the path, the path of the Hearers is what the Bodhisattva should fully know. Fully knowing the four truths is certain
