The sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation of perception and feeling, these five, added to the previous three, are the eight liberations. First dhyana, second dhyana, third dhyana, fourth dhyana, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation attainment, these are the nine successive abidings. Suffering, origin, cessation, path, these are the four noble truths, and the ten perfections such as generosity. These thirty-four aspects, completely encompassed by the knowledge of the path, are those of the Bodhisattvas. The power of knowing what is possible and impossible, the power of knowing the maturation of karma, the power of knowing various inclinations, the power of knowing various realms, the power of knowing superior and inferior faculties, the power of knowing the path to all destinations, the power of knowing defilement and purification of meditative absorption, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti, the power of knowing past lives, the power of knowing death and birth, the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements, these are the ten powers. Fearlessness in realizing enlightenment, fearlessness in the exhaustion of defilements, fearlessness regarding obstructing dharmas, fearlessness regarding definitely liberating dharmas, these are the four fearlessnesses.

Preceding, the deeds of speech are all preceded by wisdom, the deeds of mind are all preceded by wisdom, wisdom that does not cling to or diminish past events, wisdom that does not cling to or diminish future events, wisdom that does not cling to or diminish present events, these are the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. The suchness spoken by the Buddha, the self-arisen one who is the lord of all dharmas, the one who manifestly awakens to all aspects, the perfectly enlightened Buddha has thirty-nine aspects. Thus, the aspects gathered by the knowledge of all things are seventy-seven. The aspects gathered by the knowledge of the path are thirty-six. Those perfectly gathered by the knowledge of all aspects are divided according to the distinction of individuals into thirty-seven kinds, thirty-four kinds, thirty-nine kinds, totaling one hundred and ten. If all are gathered into one, there are one hundred and seventy-three aspects. Aspects Having spoken, now, how to skillfully combine, let us speak of those briefly stated. The Blessed Mother is also the combination of skillful wisdom, the matter to be spoken, the one who skillfully combines also comes from the combiner himself. Therefore, to show that hearing is also difficult to obtain, it is said: Homage to the Buddhas, From that generate roots of virtue, Possessing the protector of virtuous friends, This is a vessel for listening. Attending to the Buddhas and asking all, Practicing generosity and discipline, etc., Taking and holding, etc., The noble ones consider as vessels. Thus, it is determined that one who listens to the Dharma must first take refuge in the Buddhas, generate the mind of enlightenment, etc., and thus be qualified to listen to the Dharma. The Buddhas are characterized by the absence of attachment, hatred, and ignorance. Because one has planted roots of virtue towards them, one is blessed by virtuous friends, etc., and only then does one have the qualification to listen and be a vessel, otherwise not. Also, whoever in previous lives has repeatedly honored the Buddhas, properly inquired, and practiced generosity and other perfections.
