Going to the other shore is a completely close statement. This explains closeness and distance. The aggregates, such as grasping and holding, that are clung to by the Hearers and others, understanding that they are blessed by me, is the unfavorable aspect. Determining that these are emptiness itself is the antidote aspect. Understanding the nature of the three times as one is the unfavorable aspect. This is the past, this is the future, this is the present, thus definitely distinguishing them is the antidote aspect. Stinginess and so on are unfavorable aspects. Attachment to generosity and so on, and attachment to the aspects of enlightenment, are the antidote aspects. To show that these are also unfavorable aspects of the Bodhisattva, it is said: Form and other aggregates are emptiness, The dharmas realized in the three times, Generosity and other aspects of enlightenment, The thought of practice is an unfavorable aspect. This is saying, what is the antidote aspect of those Bodhisattvas? Thinking about it, it is said: Generosity and so on have no self-grasping, Others also cause to practice it, That cuts off the edge of attachment, Attachment to the Victorious Ones and so on is subtle. This is saying, regarding generosity and so on, one also completely practices, and also causes others to abide in it, realizing the absence of self and what belongs to self, without self-grasping, this is the antidote aspect of the Bodhisattva who has entered non-attachment. This, or this itself, the characteristic of entering non-attachment is the absence of pride. Cutting off the edge of attachment is exhausting and cutting off the collections of attachment, therefore it is cutting off. If the Bodhisattva only enters non-attachment, then making offerings, respect, prostrations, generosity and so on to the Thus-Gone Ones and so on are also obviously attachment, therefore it would become an unfavorable aspect, if you think like that, it is correct. For the cause of the supreme collection, this subtle attachment is also an unfavorable aspect, do not be afraid of this. How is it that this subtle attachment is an unfavorable aspect? It is said: The path of Dharma is by nature, solitary because of that.ེ་ profound nature. It is said, that is the Prajñāpāramitā. Profound is the realm empty of grasping and apprehending, that is, emptiness by its very nature. The path of Dharma is a collection of investigations, without truth. Therefore, since the Prajñāpāramitā is free from all attachments, even subtle attachments are indeed opposing factors. How to abandon subtle attachments? Thinking about this, it is said: All dharmas are of one nature, attachment is abandoned by knowing. It is said, how is this Prajñāpāramitā difficult to realize? To this it is said: By blocking seeing and so on, it is said to be difficult to realize. It is extremely profound. Seeing is the seen or the seer. The word "etc." includes the agent, the speaker, and so on. By blocking these, the Prajñāpāramitā, the nature of clarity of emptiness, is said to be difficult to realize. Therefore, because it is difficult to realize, the Bhagavati is extremely profound. Again, the Prajñā pāramitā is inconceivable as objects of grasping and apprehending, etc. How is that? To this it is said: Because it is not known as form, etc., it is considered inconceivable. It is said, "form, etc." refers to starting from the aggregates of form, etc., gathering into the ultimate nature of the Buddha's unmixed dharmas, together with the objects of grasping and apprehending, this Prajñāpāramitā is considered inconceivable. Therefore, understanding objects of grasping, etc., is an opposing factor for the Bodhisattva in relation to the Prajñāpāramitā. It is said that the opposing factors and the friendly factors are brought together. Thus, according to the way of knowing all, the opposing factors and the friendly ones, all the distinctions without remainder, should be known as explained. It is said, in the manner of encompassing all, the Śrāvakas and Bodhisattvas, according to the order as spoken, should know the distinctions between the opposing factors and the friendly factors. How should a Bodhisattva not universally practice the diligence of a Śrāvaka who abides in knowing all? To show that very point, it is said: Form, etc., that not
