Or, like various signs disappearing in all the sky, all elaborations appear in the nature of great bliss, hence it is the continuous aspect; or, like an illusory person, if not conceived, then by the power of delight, the aspects of enjoyment and place, etc., are merely the continuity of appearance; or, for each sentient being, without beginning or end, as it appears, until then, from the distinction of what is grasped and the grasper, definite liberation, the unstoppable appearance, is merely the nature of the wheel of various aspects of body, enjoyment, and place, etc., hence it is the continuity of appearance; or, for sentient beings, as it appears, until then, from the four extremes of what is grasped and the grasper, cause and effect, definite liberation, the unstoppable appearance, appears in the non-dual mind, such as these, the meaning of the words of the Prajñāpāramitā, are repeatedly spoken. As it is said, the Prajñāpāramitā is the non-dual wisdom, that is, the Tathāgata. By applying oneself for the sake of accomplishing that meaning, hence the scriptures and the path are also thus, is it not said thus? Here, if one thinks why the pure Prajñāpāramitā of the eight Abhisamayas is taught, it is not so. With each one's own thought, truly speaking, the Prajñāpāramitā is just like this. The Dharma explained by the words of the three vows is prevented, and gathered into the Truth of the Path, thus it can also be declared. That will also appear below when explaining the meaning of the words of the Prajñāpāramitā. Also, until completely distinguished, the nature of completely gathering the white Dharmas, together with the fruits, the Dharma explained by the words of the three vehicles, preventing and gathering into the Truth of the Path, in order to easily realize that Prajñāpāramitā, the Victorious Maitreya composed the distinctions of each of the eight Abhisamayas, thus there is no contradiction between the former and the latter. The explanation of the first verse is completed. If so, the Bhagavan himself taught the three Prajñāpāramitās of extensive, medium, and brief, the order of the eight Abhisamayas, then that...

When asked why this treatise was composed, (Maitreya) said: The path of omniscience, Whatever the Teacher explained from this, Not experienced by others, Only the wise will realize. The nature of the ten practices, Keeping the meaning of the sutras in mind, Easily realized, Is the purpose of the composition. Thus it is said. Therefore, for the continuum of a worthy disciple, the nature of generating certainty and without doubt in the eight Abhisamayas in order, is the purpose of this treatise, as stated in the first verse. The nature of taking as a practice the cause for attaining Buddhahood, is the necessity of the necessity, as stated in the second verse. This is the general meaning. That is, the meaning of the words should be explained: "Omniscience" means Buddhahood itself. The Tathagata, the nature of the three bodies of Dharma, Enjoyment, and Emanation, is the meaning of the eighth Dharmakaya Abhisamaya, which has become the fruit. "Path" means that which is with it, that is, the seven Abhisamayas. Therefore, "the path of omniscience" is like an ox cart, the path of omniscience is the nature of the eight Abhisamayas. "Teacher" means the Buddhas, Bhagavan, etc. "Explained" means the explanation and summary of the three types of Prajnaparamita Sutras, extensive, intermediate, and concise. What is that like? "Not experienced by others," that is, not experienced by others. "Others" are the Shravakas and others who have no compassion, such is the order of explanation. "The wise" are the Bodhisattvas. "From this" means from this treatise of the Abhisamayalankara. "Realize" means to definitely realize, this is the meaning of the first verse. "Meaning of the Sutras" means the meaning of the Prajnaparamita Sutras, from this treatise with the nature of the eight Abhisamayas, to realize without doubt in order. "Nature" means the practice of the nature of the ten Paramitas, such as generosity.
